Honestly, it was very mediocre and lacking a lot of flavour. Paid over $30 for 2 people, enough to feed us both. Our Mexi-fries... (tater tots) were undercooked and soggy. Our Crusto?s had very little cinnamon sugar thus lacking flavour. My El-Cruncho wasjust ok, it wasn?t packing much flavour at all. Ordered beef, it had a bit of heat to it but again, very little actual depth offlavour. My girlfriend told me her chicken burrito didn?t have enough ranch. The manager was very impatient and barky with hisstaff, made it less inviting. I understand being slammed, I?ve worked in the industry but treating staff that way is good way todrive away employees and customers. Went in at lunch and ordered mexi-fries. The person at the counter took it off the shelf which I questioned as it had been... sitting there since before I walked in the store. He assured me it was fresh and cooked. When I got back to the office theywere cold and raw inside. I couldn't even pick them up and they disintegrated as I tried to lift them. I called in to let himknow and he was very rude about it. Told me to come back and get a new one which I couldn't do. Didn't bother to offer anyother solution - just continued to argue with me that the fries were cooked which they were definitely not. Definitely afood-safe concern and rude staff to go with it. I have been a loyal customer for the last 20yrs plus at TacoTime hillside location. Prior to the last time I was there I was... told I have to now start paying for the extra hot sauce which I usually get for free and I had no problem with that. I didnthave an issue paying for the extra hot sauce then the next time I went there the owner told me that I can't get extra hot sauceeven though I'm willing to pay for it. So I turn quietly and patiently around and started walking out of the restaurant withoutsaying a single word. The owner then said don't ever come back here. Read more
I don?t normally bother rating National chains but this restaurant really deserves credit, the staff are super friendly and... welcoming they encourage you to take advantage of the daily deals and try new products like the chilli etc. Really good serviceand a positive attitude keep me coming back here, the place is neat and tidy with pleasant music playing always, great place,excellent attention to detail and good quality food made by staff that really cares. Plenty of seating and and looked clean. Food was plain and adequate but leaning heavily toward fast food and not a real burrito... place. Kind of a subway sandwich vibe. Read more
