I just got lunch here as I was leaving Victoria and we got the BEST service. The sweet couple who own this shop were the nicest... people we?ve met in our 10 days in Canada. They were more than happy to give recommendations of places to visit in Victoria andshe even gave us a free sweet potato dessert since we?re from Idaho haha! Excellent food and services! I made a quick stop to pick up some food before taking a ferry back to the U.S. We ordered a... teriyaki chicken and tuna sushi bowl. The food was ready within 10 minutes and both dishes were very fresh and tasty. The tunabowl with the spicy sauce (called Gochujang if you are familiar with Korean food) was filled with flavor. The owner providedmore than excellent service - she brought us some cold water while we were waiting for the food to go and perfectly packed thedishes at our convenience. Her hospitality was one of highlights of our trip in Victoria. I'd recommend this place to anyonewho wants fresh and healthy meals. Read more

Absolutely fantastic! I've been here a few times now, and have been so impressed every time. The poke bowls, the teriyaki... noodles, and now the sushi burrito. OMG YUM is all I can really say! I had no idea that a truly authentic Japanese eatery place exists. This restaurant is located on the first floor of a building.... I walked by it many times. Food is authentic. The couple (Magarete and Don?) running the restaurant make truly authenticJapanese/Korean style food. They are super friendly. The food tastes like what I had in Japan. My avocado sushi is delicious.Reasonably priced. Great value for the price you pay. I would go back to try other vegan Japanese food without any hesitations. Read more
We came here based on the positive reviews, and I am so glad to say this place did not disappoint! I was immediately greeted... with a warm smile and helped with the menu. They knew we had 2 kids, and they actually made balloon animals for them while wewaited for our food ???? We ordered a variety of sushi rolls and the noodle dish, and it was ALL delicious ???? and for areasonable cost. Even as we left everyone gave us the warmest goodbye.
