I've had ok pizza from here, and the staff are generally decent. Their thin crust is not good but regular crust is maybe a 6. We... order from them sometimes because they are local and close. I ordered delivery from them a week ago, and everything wasdelivered cold. The worst part is that i tried something new, their cheese stuffed bread. The description: "Fresh baked breadstuffed with garlic butter, villages mozzarella edam blend & cheddar cheese. Topped with parmesan cheese." The reality: It wascold, burnt, and inedible and after taking the picture it went directly in the garbage. Unfortunately no email address forcustomer service. I will never shop at a pizza place that closes so early in the evening. Recommended many times to stay open later, they would... make fork loads of money. I just don?t understand it. Read more
Used to be great pizza, but it has been consistently slipping for some time now. We have had several orders made wrong, burnt,... or we are told to pick it up in 30 minutes, you get there and it's not in the oven. No longer worth it unfortunately. Too manymistakes. Read more
We have lived in James Bay and ordered here for 10+ years but after the last 3 visits in a row, I can no longer recommend... Superior Pizza. It's really unfortunate because this place used to be the best pizza in town. They regularly mess up our ordersnow, wrong toppings or toppings missing or not enough toppings. The most recent visit on a Friday night I ordered one singlelarge pizza for pick-up. I was quoted 25 minutes. When I got there, my pizza hadn't even gone in the oven yet. So I waited 15more minutes for it to be ready. The cook called my name and I saw him pull my pizza out and start to cut it. I could see itfrom the front counter, it was completely burned on top. I said "that's my pizza? It's burned!" The kid says, "that's notburned" it was very clearly dark brown (burned cheese) on top. I am a red seal chef, I know what a burned pizza looks like. Isaid, "please make me another one, that's inedible". They weren't going to do it at first but I pressed the issue. I was alreadyusing a $20 credit from my previous order because of a similar mess-up and this kid says I'll give you a $30 credit. I said, "Idon't want a credit, I want the pizza I ordered". When I did eventually get my pizza, it was perfectly cooked, but then I wonderwhy ALL the pizzas can't be cooked with that level of care. The problem lately is that there seems to be no manager around oranyone with the ability to expedite and quality check the food coming out of the kitchen and these kids don't seem to know whatthey're doing, or have poor training. The owner/manager always worked the oven on the weekends historically which helped withthe consistency at this place. That's not the case anymore. I haven't seen him in ages. Maybe he sold the place. This is thethird time in a month it's been terrible here and I will not spend anymore money at Superior Pizza until they fix their issues.I suspect if they don't, they will go the way of other Victoria restaurants and fade into oblivion. It is so frustrating to try and get a pizza slice at 6pm (dinner time) and they only have spinach pineapple and the team of... young guys is just goofing around. COOK A PIZZA. Edit: The boys seem to be cooking pizza at dinner time again. Good job boys. Read more

As a resident of James Bay, and as much as I would like to give these guys a decent review, it's obvious that their customer... service side of things is utterly lacking. If it was only a one time event where a customer calls in and put on hold for longperiods, and then to be told they are out of a certain item, it would be understandable. This however, seems to be a regularoccurrence with this place, or perhaps when the Manager isn't around. I've refrained from writing a review for a long time now,but even though they have decent food and fairly reasonable prices, they are one of the most poorly run establishments here. We usually love Superior, but this past Friday we ordered and it was not good. The crust was thick and chewy, the cheese was... barely melted, there was very little sauce. The mini brownies came in a Village's Pizza paper bag. If it's been taken over byVillage's , it explains the downturn in quality. Time to find a new pizza place! Read more
