I dont mind papa johns because its cheap BUT Pizzeria Prima Strada's pizza are MUCH better and now papa johns pizzas are within... a dollar or more expensive. Why on earth would I pay specialty pizza place prices for chain pizza? You guys have got to loweryour prices... Read more
Bad experience. I worked there for few days. Don?t join papa johns at McKenzie. Don?t pay to much tip over there. When somebody... join they said u will get around $3 tip for 1 hour, but after somedays they will show u that u will get just 50cents for 1 hour. And god knows they will pay or not. I didn't get any. They don't give break just they say go and have pizza. Hahaha worst workexperience ever. Read more
If you like your pizza with 40% tasteless crust, then this corporate-owned pizza is for you. Worst pizza in Victoria. I bought... this pizza for my staff but I feel I owe them an apology on Monday. Local pizza is the best -- mom and pop ownerships that usefresh, local ingredients and care about the results. I should have known better >< Read more
Terrible service they refunded and credit 1 large pizza went to order this tonight and they refused the credit do not order
3.7ish stars - not too bad at all, but nothing to write your mother about. Definitely not going to disappoint anyone for a quick... family meal after a long week. (I'd take this over Dominos for sure). Read more
One of the worst pizza's ever. Wasted $37.00. Medium pepperoni with black olives and mushrooms and cheddar cheese. Gross sweet... tomato sauce, skimped on the bland pepperoni, rubbery crust, pathetic cheddar cheese. The jalapeno poppers were wrapped inleathery dough. Three dips were with this, 2 were garlic sauce... of which one was like soft butter no garlic to be found theother was just oil. At least it had a slight garlic smell. The ranch dip was passable. Not thick by any means. I hope thedriver was on his first shift ever....because he didn't read the delivery instructions and after receiving the cash for the foodproceeded to start the credit card machine for payment. I thought it might just have be a confirmation thing...but the firstthing the machine wanted to know was how much I was going to tip. For this meal ...they owe me. Web site said they would send aconfirmation email.....it didn't. Web site also didn't credit my papa points. I will never order from this placeagain. Update: Scott Patten Director of Operations Papa Johns BC Got back to my review of the lousy food. But no furthercommunications after I told him the store didn't do anything ...no communications ..nothing. Scott didn't even offer adiscounted pizza. My information and opinion are important...yeah sure Scott. Read more
I got a medium 2 topping pizza with pepperoni and cheese. I went back and got a 2nd pizza with more toppings using a $5 off... coupon. Papa John's only allows 2 changes to be made to a 5 topping pizza. With Domino's I can order a extravagant pizza andreplace all toppings. It's decent/good pizza for what it is, but I think I'd rather just get Domino's because they have betterpromos. Read more
Never did I have a weirder (read: worse AND more confusing) experience than with my Papa John's order from this place. I live... <1km away. For convenience and as a treat I ordered a big pizza directly from their website for 20 bucks. I tried a promo code Ihad found online, which worked, but didn't. The discount was subtracted but then added again. The total incl. all fees, taxesand a tip was 32.99. Weird enough, but sure... The delivery time was estimated at 40 to 50 minutes. After an hour I called forthe first time, only to be told by a bot "We're running behind." Okay... After 1.5 hours and no update I decided to go there topick the pizza myself. Alas, they found my order in the system, but it had been cancelled. By whom? Or why? The staff couldn'tsay. They basically didn't know anything and seemed generally confused. Fair enough: it's a low-wage job, done by two people onone evening shift -- I'm sure they are understaffed, overworked and underpaid. Anyways, when I asked for a refund, their systemshowed that I had paid 26.99 - the discount had supposedly worked. Which it hadn't!!! Well... They annulated the alreadycancelled order and i left - hangrily, I'll admit - to pick up some freezer pizza from the grocery store. Just to receive aphone call in the middle of it by a Door Dash driver, that my pizza was 'here'. What??? After making sure that it was indeed tobe delivered to my address under my name, I told him to leave it. When I got home, a tiny pizza, completely different toppingsfrom what i had ordered, awaited me. I checked my Door Dash account: I hadn't ordered anything through them recently. Definitelynot that pizza. No pizza at all! So what the hell is this place? How did they mess up my order, even dragging in a third party?A fourth, given the chance that I probably accidently received someone else's order in the end? I'll call it the ADHD pizzeriafrom now on. Is that fair towards anyone suffering from ADHD? Probably not. Is this bad review f Read more
