I always thought of Nautical Nellie?s as a tourist trap but after going here for their new brunch launch, I have changed my... mind. The food was actually really well prepared, the flavours were balanced, the dishes were different and interesting and theowner and chef truly are trying to show Victoria how much they care. Prices were reasonable and in some cases lower thancomparable restaurants and cocktails and non-alcoholic choices were also well made. I?ll be back for brunch again for sure. Read more

The food was delicious! It was a quieter night but still seemed a bit busy. Service was excellent, quick, and so friendly. I... came here knowing I really wanted to try the Hot Pot but I was so tempted to get something else because there was so manyamazing things on the menu. The mussels were delicious, I loved the hot pot, and the Mexican street corn was amazing! Yum! Thereare so many good things to say about this place! The drinks were good too! To quote my dear, overstuffed husband. "Everything is dangerously delicious, but the dessert serving sizes are frankly,... irresponsible." What can I say; the man nailed it. The service was top notch. The cocktails? Peppy and fruity and light. Thecrab? Fresh. The macaroni and cheese? Gooey and comforting. The burgers? Top score. The dessert? Decadently irresponsible. Aspecial mention to Mandy, who was a stellar server, and I'm sure would have been just as accommodating even if we WEREN'T fromthe same neck of the woods. What are the odds?! Got reservation at 8pm, but the service was fast and wonderful. Food is absolutely delicious, tried the hot pot of seafood and... creme brulee. Highly recommend the restaurant overall. Will come back here again next time I visit Victoria. Read more

Seated patio for dinner. Waitress was tentative and helpful. Mussels had sand and she exchanged to claim and much better.... Seafood hotpot is excellent and unique. Dry aged ribeye is very flavorful. Sautéed mushrooms has mixed of varieties. Watch outsunset. Sun can be in your face. Read more

Quality dining experience. The food and service was fantastic. Try the mussels with wine and garlic, oysters, and the crispy... calamari, all were delicious. They also have a decent happy hour (3-5:30). Would highly recommend this place. Read more

The food was delicious and staff was friendly. She came back about 5 times to refill my water. The food was really good and... surprisingly cheaper than expected. All of these food only came to about $150. It was more than enough food for two people. Onething they can probably improve is not putting the same type of seafood in all of their dishes. Even if it's fish, maybe puttingin different types of fish is an option. Both of the hot pot and the pasta has the same seafood making it kind of bland overall.But everything else was good and enjoyable! Read more
