This place is legendary. Anyone who slags this place you have every right to. But. I would say. It's always important to... remember our histories and I feel like this building and what it does are a part of that, whether we like it to be or not. Boyvoice to text allows for some very interesting reviews of restaurants. I'm mostly plant-based but I have had their fish at leasta bite of it and it was good. They're fries are dope and I love their sign, so that's all I have to say about that Read more

Quite good. Crispy, well-cooked fish with a thin coating, good coleslaw, fries that came into their own with a little salt and... malt vinegar. Not the best I've ever had, but I'm from the east coast and Atlantic cod is awesome, but solidly good, and wouldreturn. Read more

I was going on what I was told and told that's the place to get the best fish and chips. WELL ??? OH my gosh yes another honest... opinion about the places too eat on the island. I wasn't impressed. First off I was impressed by the newspaper wrap but theninside wrapped again and quite grease filled from one piece of halibut that tasted like a rubber sole from a Nike shoe. Plusthere was no vinegar, salt, ketchup, lemon, tartar sauce or napkins...for the price...it certainly is not worth it... I don'trecommend... this place. I give it a 2 out of 10. Read more

4 stars for quality. ~$50 for two modest pieces of halibut, a tarter sauce, a small coleslaw, and a massive pile of chips... wasn't worth it, especially with the faint not fresh fishy taste. There should be zero bad fish taste at that price. Read more
