You're not going to come out if here hungry! Massive choices to select from on their menu. A big step up from chain or franchise... breakfast spots. Staff have been excellent on our 5 visits so far even when the place is packed. Go for something savory andsweet like the lemon strawberry crepes with a side of bacon. So far nothing we have tried was simply average. All dishes wereworthy of the traditional food Pic! Read more
We were visiting the area and after a lot of research on where to have breakfast we chose Floyd's due to its vibrant exterior... and excellent reviews. We knew we would have to wait; note this is a very small restaurant and therefore if there is a line youwill wait. The hostess was amazing; checking in regularly and offering coffee and tea. The waiter gave great recommendations andwas very knowledgeable on the menu. I do not usually eat breakfast out but this place was totally worth it. I go the AmericanIdol (you can get a half order if you want). The thick cut bacon, homemade pesto sauce and fresh avocado were delicious. Icannot eat bread and it was not missed in my benni due to the quality of the product. My friends got the strawberry lemoncrepes. How can you not get something with fresh homemade lemon curd? Once again these did not disappoint. This is a definiterevisit when in the area! Read more
Great brunch spot! I had the lumber jack breakfast which was pretty darn big. You definitely get your monies worth. 2 piece of... thicc cut bacon, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes and home fries. They also have these funny meals where you can choose to flip a coin ifyou win then the meal is free if you lose them you pay double. Read more
LOVED IT! The server was fantastic, and speedy. The food was amazing. My eggs Benny eggs were done perfectly, the potatoes... was great. My hubby?s double meat breakfast was so good! We each left full and with leftovers for the next morning. I also hadthe spicy Caesar, so good! Read more
Food was warm by the time it arrived and the wait time was quite long. As for the taste, it was a very good experience, very... savory meal i would say. Went for brunch with friends and it was enjoyable. The diner has a very wonderful atmosphere which wasa plus and the menu had lots of great options. Read more
Mediocre at best. Fish was hot and fries were cold. Batter was dark, possibly old oil, flavourless. Absolutely poor beer... selection. Took 6 + minutes to get a second beer fom the time i put down the empty glass and only three tables! Two servers wereon staff to be clear. This place is probably all about the breakfast, so I hear..? I would surmise this place is frequented bylocals with no sense of developed taste buds... One ring above Macdonalds at best. I must admit it does have a cool layout andfun atmosphere. I should check out their breakfast menu and update my review if warranted. Cautiously optimistic.. Read more
Cozy spot in a poppin? pink building that really grabs your eye. There were so many plates to choose from on the menu, and some... of em? really stood out. We ordered and shared one plate of ?The Mahoney.? You ask for either breakfast or lunch, and the chefschoose whatever they want to make you. No exceptions and not for picky eaters - but a fun way to get a surprise! With this dish, you flip a coin at the end of the meal (if you choose to take the gamble). If the coin lands on your chosen answer of heads ortails, you get the plate for free! But, if the server wins, you pay double the menu price. A fun little switch up to the regularrestaurant experience. Portion sizes are huge and we split one plate amongst two people and still left feeling full. Supercheesy, super heavy, super yummy. We got lucky and won the gamble, so we left with a free meal (of course we left a tip), but aquality spot with staff that go above-and-beyond! Read more
