During our stay at Oak Bay Hotel, we visited Faro for dinner one night and glad we did! The restaurant has a modern feel and we... were able to get seated quickly around 8pm. Our server was helpful and friendly and we appreciated her attention. We shared theprosciutto & melon appetizer and pepperoni pizza. The appetizer was so delicious with the combination of salty from theprosciutto and sweet from the melon and white balsamic. Also enjoyed the basil in this dish. The pizza was one of the bestpizzas I?ve had in awhile. The pepperoni and hot honey combination works so well, salty, sweet and a lil spice! The pizza sliceswere also sturdy and didn?t fall apart when you picked it up. Would definitely recommend you give Faro a try! Read more

Love Faro, their menu is small but they have perfected every item on their menu, pizza, desserts, wine and beverages, they even... made a strawberry mocktail for my kids. One of my favourite spots to go with my kids to eat outside. Read more

This restaurant was probably the best restaurant I?ve tried in the entire island. We were greeted by Roberta, who?s the manager... at Faro and we were served by Michael. The service was absolutely amazing and different than any other! The food and drinks weredelightful. Highly recommended! First time here, so cannot give it a 5. The experience, the service and the food was all great. Our waiter was lovely with... really good suggestions and also honestly. The pizzas were great and the crust was sublime. The carpaccio was different to whatwe have had but for sure would have it again. Massive disappointment. OBH is one our favourite places to go, beautiful setting and lovely ambiance. Faro pizzeria would have... been a perfect match for this great hotel, but I predict they are not going to last long! $32 for a assorted plate of coldcuts with two pieces of cheese and bread is outrages! Pizza was good if it had more cheese on it. They called the pizzaNeapolitan Pizza!! I guess They never had pizza from Napoli. Wine list just mediocre. Read more

This is such a beautiful place to dine in. If you?re staying at the hotel or prefer to take away, they offer that too. We opted... to take away. We had the melon & parma starter, two pizzas and the chocolate dessert. They prepared everything in about 15minutes - super fast, even though they seemed quite busy. Our favorite ended up being the parma and melon, as it was so freshand tasty. The pizzas were delicious too and especially the ?Whole Beast? was so fully loaded with toppings. I?ve been told to dial down expectations since the pandemic hit, and while the pizza I had was a little soggy in the middle, the... rest of it was delicious! Carpaccio and dessert was noteworthy, lovely ambiance and clean restaurant, but the highlight were thepeople.
