The pizza was amazing but the whole edge of my crust was extremely burnt. The service was good and the place was calm and nice... until some people and all their screaming kids came in. which isn't the restaurant fault, it's just something I noticed, it waskinda annoying because they seated them right in the middle of the restaurant when there where big tables off to the sides. First time visit, food was good, service was excellent. Managed to grab a corner table since it was not that crowded. The tomato... bisque was very good. Slightly disappointed on the Bruschetta as it seemed to have more onions and a very overpowering taste ascompared to the ???? or herbs in it. Also the bread was the same for Bruschetta and flatbread which seemed a little odd. Myfriend had the meatballs in his shareables and he remarked that the sauce was great. It was just us and another customer so I don't think we can blame whatever this pizza was on how busy they were, can we? What... you see on the pictures is a saggy pizza with maybe a descent crust, with some low grade deli chicken squares on top and rawonions and tomatoes that feel were added at the last minute? I didn't know a pizza could taste over cooked and raw at the sametime... Furthermore, we weren't asked if we wanted more pop, I guess soda refills are not an option? My friends and I came in for a table of six at around 5:30pm. We fully understood that six people is quite a few, so we had no... issue waiting for a table. That being said, we waited well over an hour for three pizzas, which is hard to justify. We watchedguests get seated, served and have their tables cleaned afterwards while we were waiting, hungry. During this time, I kindlyasked the server if there as any way she could move the umbrella because the sun was in our eyes (we were seated outside). Shewas new and didn't know how to, but offered to bring someone else. Unfortunately, no ended up coming so we spent the timewaiting with out hands blocking the bright sun. Once the food finally arrived, 2/3 pizzas were perfectly fine, delicious even!But the first one to come out had clearly been sitting for at least 30 minutes. The crust was wet and the toppings were slidingoff. I'm not too sure what happened here. Maybe they forgot? Maybe our order got misplaced? Thankfully, my friends and Imanaged to keep each other entertained, but I'm convinced if we were any other group we would have complained in person. Nottoo impressed. I was looking for a happy hour venue in the early afternoon, with dozens to choose from. Based on the ultimateVictoria... happyhours website, I wanted to try some of their advertised specials. After being seated I asked for a happy hour menu and Iwas told that they don't do happy hour. I ordered regardless to give the restaurant a try since I was already here. They were afew tables of the 60+ seat venue that were occupied and they only had one server on and an assistant to service the entirerestaurant. My sandwich and salad took quite a long time to arrive. While I waited I confirmed on their website that they infact DO offer happy hour AND daily specials, for the specific location (address verified) I went to. Upon asking the persondelivering the food (who turned out to be the GM/owner?) about why I wasn't told of or offered any of these menus he repliedthat he chose not to offer any of these services with no particular reason why. I told him the specific reason I decided to comehere today was because of the current information available online and had I had known, I wouldn't have come. I would haverather visited for dinner another day. Also the Negroni I ordered specifically said on the menu "comes with a large cube" and itcame with regular cubed ice. I told him that they may want to do something about their false advertising. The sandwich wasoverloaded with ranch dressing (mayonnaise) and the Caesar salad had many pieces of lettuce that were past their acceptableserving date. I will not be back. Read more

Famoso's Margherita is the closest to the real thing that I've had in north America. That in itself is worth the five stars,... despite some oddities (like putting chicken on pizza) which I'd put down as concessions to the local taste that are necessaryfor business. The tiramisù is also worth of the Margherita. The staff are friendly and polite; tables, plates and silverwareare clean. The dine-in hours are too limited right now due to staffing issues but hopefully that will go away when the COVIDinsanity ends. Read more
