A 4.9 average from hundreds of reviews is hard to achieve. And it drew a more critical eye. Is it deserved? Looking more... closely than usual, there were a couple of nits: cashier mixed up the drink order (no Americano please) but this was quicklyresolved, milk foam did have some large-ish bubbles (see picture) and the chocolate croissant / pain au chocolate was onlyaverage. That said, the large latte was delicious. Remarkably so. Espresso was thus beautifully dialed in given the amount ofmilk. The space / location is fantastic. Love the branded table legs and the feature big-leaf maple live edge group table.Little touches like power outlets at the booth tables are appreciated. I entered from the laneway side, and it almost seemedclosed. And even possibly low budget with the hours crayons onto the window. Entering, though, exposed a beautiful space. Theother side is majestic, opening onto a lovely courtyard with a HUGE accordion doorway. Talk about inviting. New location same great coffee. I liked and reviewed the previous location and it was great small but good. The new location is... really a great evolution it?s very open well branded bright colourful and opens up during summer days for a nice breeze. Thestaff is friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee and make great recommendations. The roasts they sell are wonderful and havemade there way into my rotation of local brands. A nice new addition is more food options pork buns and breakfast sandwiches aswell as baking. The food is quite good and mostly on the run handheld tasty snack style treats. Overall I like where the shophas moved onto and I?ll continue to get beans and coffee from here for a long time. Read more
