Basic Dairy Queen fare. Sundae cups were sticky, sauce was over the rim. Tables were sticky. The entire seating section smells... like a toilet. Like really awful Just made everything taste bad because it smelled so bad in there. The seating area has holesin the wall, and other wall parts are missing sections of what looked like tile at one point Really run down Gag worthysmells Next time, we'll drive down to Hillside for DQ. Very disappointing. All food was microwaved instead of grilled. Chicken looked and tasted like tofu. Bacon burger microwaved in... box so bun soggy and bacon raw - went into garbage. Read more

I used to work at this location in 2021. 1. I remember serving 2 blind customers a banana split and going thru a box of... brown/squishy bananas to find a nice one for them. The manager, Jesse, interrupted my search to say, ?You know they can?t seeit, right?? I was horrified, ignored him and made them a proper banana split. 2. I had an intimate issue with a coworker andsubsequently was transferred to the Hillside location for one shift. I left 3 hours into the shift because of the mismanagementand mistreatment I was experiencing from each staff member. A customer apparently complained about their order during that timeand in response the District Manager, Dave English, told the customer (without asking me first) that I am ?special needs? andthat they?ve been ?working with me? on my confidence to get me to work affectively. This is untrue and if Dave had asked meprior to sending this email, I wouldn?t have consented to it. I promptly quit less than a week after this incident andcontinued at my other position as a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities. I have experienced some prettyterrible management in my time, but Dave and Jesse?s actions crossed serious lines. I cannot believe it?s been a year since I?veworked there and the same people are still running the business. I have reached out to DQ Canada about this mistreatment twiceand been ignored/dismissed. Back when I worked here a medium was a medium and a small was a small. Every time I?ve come here since I?ve ordered a medium... cone and gotten a small. Considering the prices have gone up 20% this is pretty bad Read more
