Bear & Joey is one of my favourite brunch restaurants in Victoria! I’d say the best patio setup with heaters if needed, allows... for dogs / has water station, excellent service and professionalism. We had the Avocado Toast and added prosciutto, and thePotatoRosti and added the bacon + avocado. The bacon literally melts in your mouth, it’s so good. Coffee and Kombucha also agreat choice! There was a big line up at our favourite brunch spot so we searched for another place nearby that offered hot breakfasts. The... decor at Bear & Joey was a little too pink, gold and palm treed for us but we were hungry. Too bad the mushroom toast was soldout. Cute space but was disappointed with the food. Ordered the mushroom toast and the bread had soaked in a lot of the balsamic... vinegar dressing so found that overpowering other flavours. The matcha latte was good. I liked that it wasn’t sweetened andyou can add your preferred amount of honey. The turnover pastry was definitely a miss. It had minimal raspberry filling and justwasn’t good. My partner ordered the breakfast sandwich with potatoes and that was good, not amazing but still good. Read more
Have been meaning to check it out for awhile now. Only a forty minute wait to get a table on late Saturday morning. Great coffee... selection. Food came to the table quickly. Both the breakfast sandwich and the tuna salad were delicious. Will definitely goback. Read more
