I've been ordering from Baan Thai for years and always been satisfied with the food, portion sizes, and prices. Sadly the... quality seems to have decreased significantly as have the portion sizes, while the prices have gone way up (I definitelyunderstand that the price of everything has gone up these days, but this is the starkest increase I've come across... the springrolls have nearly DOUBLED in price, they used to be $8 for 4 and are now $15). Maybe only 6 months ago, my partner and I couldorder enough for dinner for 2 for around $30-$35 with a tip ? we recently ordered the same meal and it was almost $50 and notnearly as delicious as it used to be. I don't know why this restaurant isn't rated even higher than it is already. Very authentic tasting Thai food. This is coming... from a person who considers Thailand a second home and has been there at least 10 times if not more. Amazing food!!! Servicewas also excellent. It was my second time back to the restaurant. The first time was only two people. This time we were a largegroup of ten so I got to try quite a few items. The highlights for me were their chicken satay with an amazing peanut sauce,the Tom Kha soup was just brilliant, the Som Tum ( Papaya salad) was nice and fresh and the Pad Kra Pow (minced pork with basil)was probably the dish of the night. Easy to find Food is good, servings are small for the price Chicken satay with peanut sauce was good! Fried Calamari - nothing... special Green curry chicken with coconut rice - was good!
