It was just okay. As advertising the best in Rochester, I?ve had better. The food wasn?t what got me, it was the lack of... personality that the young gentleman had who was waiting on me. Also, they had gloves on and never once changed them betweenwaiting on people. They used one scale to weigh the meat for the subs or sandwiches. The same parchment paper was used betweentwo employees weighing several different meats. The one wiped his nose with his gloves on and then proceeded to finish cuttingthe sub he was making. Really tasty and above average subs at Amiel's. I used to frequent the one in Henrietta when I worked out there, but this... location in Victor is a mile from my house and I love them. They always have fresh rolls and cookies, and their made-in-houseroast beef is fantastic. This places offers a solid alternative to DiBellas, Wegmans, or Calabresella's. Much like everythingelse, prices have gone up recently, which isn't their fault. Just be prepared to spend $15+ on a sub, cookie/chips, and a drink. Read more
I've never seen employees move slower. There was probably 5 on the line making subs. The older woman, assuming a manager, was... running circles around them trying to give them what they needed to succeed however. Props to her. Weighing out meat is a joke.The turkey looked sickly, in chunks. To the review about the ice machine and the soda machine and it being fixed, I was thereless than a week ago and it was out of order. ????EDIT: ????The owner himself reached put to me personally, he explained that it was not mold. It's a combination of live... yeast and sugar from the ingredients used to make the AMAZING bread! However the issue has been resolved! Awesome customerservice ???? We will return I visited the Victor location this evening and while getting my fountain drink, I noticed a largeglob of black mold in the clear plastic piece of the ice dispenser. I told the young girl at the register and she gave us 2bottled drinks. She Apologized kindly. She wiped the mold out and several other customers have used it sense. This is a majorhealth concern and this machine needs to be shut down and cleaned thoroughly. I spoke with the manager on this shift, heexplained to me this happens often and the owner was here himself and cleaned it just the other day. The manager said that hedoesn't drink out of it because of the mold! Clearly there is a larger problem. My food was delicious as always, but DONT DRINKTHE FOUNTAIN DRINKS! Read more

Amiels used to be our go to sub shop, but lately, dear goodness, I would rather go to subway? last 3 times have been decreasing... in quality and the employees seem to care less. The latest round is some brown lettuce with dry meat placed without care inbetween a flop of dough. Yes, dough? A bun that brings shame to buns. Cook the bread, put viable toppings on, shouldn?t bethat hard! Alas, it seems that no one dare instruct the workers in how to actually do their job.
