Reviews for Butter Cafe in Victor, ID
I ordered that ham+hash brown+egg+veg? thing. Forgot the name. It was delicious. I mean it fit to my Asian stomach. Drop one... star because they have a weird policy. We wanted to sit outside (cuz we have a ????) but they said they are too busy to servepeople outside, which is fine. We then ordered as Togo. They charged us for extra 22%?. No reason explain. Makes me feel likethis is ?it?s our punishment for people who does not accept our indoor service.? lol. Anyway, this definitely a good place forbreakfast/brunch. Read more
Coming from NYC and visiting the national parks, Butter?s breakfast is well with the 2100+ mile journey in itself! The... restaurant was busy and the staffs work hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. Highly recommend the cowboy bowl, home made blueberry muffin and their drip coffee (it?s $5 a cup for coffee like Butters back in Upper West Side!). Every bite of theirbreakfast tasted like home away from home! Will revisit when I get to come back to Victor again next time. Read more
The food is super delicious (5 stars) and we would love to go back. However we had a bad experience the first time. We were... told it would be a 30 minute wait which was fine, they took our names (it was just the two of us) and we were willing to wait, but then almost an hour later no one had called our name, so we went inside to ask. They told us that they were no longerseating people, what?!!? So we had waited for nothing and no one bothered to come out and inform us of this news. So we askedthem why they took our names in the first place, and make us wait so long only to turn us away. They argued that the kitchenreally needed a break.... At this point we were quite upset and rightly so. Especially since we had driven over the pass to eathere. Thankfully another server, (perhaps the supervisor/manager?) overheard the conversation and she was nice enough to figureit out and seat us. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and I realize there's a shortage of staff (I am 1 of 2 people leftin my entire department at my own workplace, so I know all about it), but don't act all sketchy and make excuses to turn peopleaway AFTER you've taken their names and made them wait so long. That isn't good business ethics. Hopefully this was just a oneoff thing. Because we have loved their other eatery "Streetfood" since they first opened, and we hope to go to Butter a few moretimes before we move away. Read more

Ladies are really nice. We had a good experience. The food was great. My son loved his Mac and Cheese. The grilled cheese and... Philly were really good as well. The soup is made in house. Coke comes in a cool glass bottle. You can keep the bottle to bringhome. I brought mine home. We will be back to try out breakfast next time. Read more
I had the orange butter french toast with fruit, fresh whipped cream and Vermont syrup and it was every bit of amazing that you... could imagine. It was hands - down the best french toast I've ever had. We sat outside and took in the beauty and hospitality ofthis small town. It's a small Cafe in a small town that is big on flavor. A cozy, modern breakfast diner with decent coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious jam, and plenty of options for a... savory or sweet meal. My party of two came in Monday morning and we were sat right away. The serving staff seems short-handedbut they were prompt in bringing us drinks and getting our order. The kitchen was also very speedy. I'm sure no more than fiveminutes passed between our order and the food arriving. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the croissants were buttery andfresh. My partner got the Al Pastor hash and we both agreed the pickled prickly pear was slightly overpowering and the ham was alittle too sparse. Read more
