Great food!

I must say i'm typically relatively happy outside of the long wait times waiting for somebody to come to the front desk most... times I am at moes. I typically come in here on my lunch break to get a half a pint of either black eyed peas or red beans andrice if they have them As it is a well sized well rounded light meal that doesn't bog me down in my work day. Today I went inand ordered a half pine of black eye peas,after selecting my tip and paying for my order I was informed that they don't haveblack eye peas. At this point I stated that I would like a refund and the worker set.nt for his manager. The manager shows upand tells me that our boys are refunded $4.40 out of my 7 something dollars that I spent period I guess for some reason the manthought that I would still want a drink even though I would not be eating any food there anymore? Honestly that is totallydishonest way of doing business because for a two dollar drink I should not be leaving a dollar something tip especially when myorder was not right, but this manager seemed more annoyed that he had to actually do something rather than ask me what I wouldlike which was a full refund not a partial refund. Now I have to go to another food Establishment and pay twelve to thirteendollars for a meal and technically add the cost of this meal on top of that for my today's lunch. Absolutely ridiculous and atotally dishonest way of doing business. This interaction today just lost my business with moes entirely. On 9/20/22 the wife & I went to Moe's (Rocky Ridge Rd) for supper. She ordered Catfish, potato salad, & baked beans. I ordered... Shrimp, FF & baked beans. My first bite was very disappointing. Nothing was hot. In fact it was barely warm. FF tasted as ifthey had been sitting out at room temperature. The best part of my meal was the sweet tea. The wife's Catfish was hot but thebeans were just like mine.....barely warm. I should have sent it back but we were a bit short on time. I boxed mine up tore-heat at home. I advised the Manager on duty. He was courteous & apologized, BUT, he never offered to get me a fresh, HOTmeal. Makes me feel that customer service is not at the top of the list. We eat there fairly regular & always had good mealsbut this time it was a disaster. We will try again & see how it goes. That was strike one! Read more

Incredibly disappointing pickup. We used Doordash to order and I was to pick up on my way home. I was not able to pick up... through the drive thru then went I went inside my food is not at the front but across the room in front of the outer doors whereit could have easily been taken while no one was watching AND anyone could have done anything to it unknown. I did not feelrespected as a takeout customer. Also the portions seem to be getting smaller but prices definitely are not adjusting. I hopethe employees are fairly compensated. Read more

Ice cold nachos with stale chips, not even cheese was warm. The wings were okay, but not worth the price. The sauce can only do... so much. Avoid the bathroom at all costs or you might get a disease. Maybe its time to hire some professionals to clean thebathroom. Even at a bar I have never experienced that much filth. I pray the kitchen is not as filthy as the bathroom. Read more

Love Moe's. Usually go to one in Daphne. All are consistently good. This location also has great fries, one of the few with... fries. The brisket was great and a large serving. Sides are always good. Cold beer too. Read more
