I?m not sure why I have given this place so many chances. Probably based on the other good reviews here, but I?m consistently... disappointed. Or maybe it?s the time of day that I come. Either way, they are very slow, the staff is sometimes rude but usuallyapathetic. The bagels are ok but they?re stingy with the cream cheese. The area to wait in line backs up so fast and you end upsquished in a corner or outside, or standing in the door until one of the employees yells at you to shut it. So basically youwait a long time to be disappointed. I guess I?ll come back after a while and try again hoping I get a better experience,because I really do love a good bagel and cream cheese (lots of it). Read more

Great food, but don't order online. They've messed up my order multiple times and no apologies ever given. They don't answer the... phone either, so forget calling for a refund. Love their eggwiches and everything bagels! Read more

Very good muffins, pumpkin and German apple. However, I think they should take names with orders. I ordered an iced coffee and... it was taken by two other people and I had to wait 20 minutes to get my drink. The lady at the counter was very helpful after Itold her my problem and held my drink for me which was super nice of her! Read more

Stopped in here on our way through town, small deviation off the highway but worth it. The ordering process was efficient,... plenty of staff, not too crowded for 9:30 on a Sunday. The egg sandwiches were great. The bagels were fresh, they had a goodchew to them but still soft on the inside. Prices were good and overall a good place. I'm glad we stopped in. The inside of therestaurant looked nice and clean, lots of seating. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, would recommend. Read more

Food is usually really good. One of the few places that serves good tea (when it?s in stock). However, their service is often so... so at best and their online ordering system is painfully inadequate. It has been buggy since it?s inception. As a frequentpatron of this restaurant, I chalked it up to implementation and transition time. However, more than a year afterimplementation, the online ordering system still doesn?t work and when calling, the only ?help? I got was to refresh and tryagain. Synopsis: food is good, service and tech are not. This is supposed to be an attraction to cahaba heights but the this isnot service you?d expect from somewhere you pay $15 for a breakfast sandwich and tea but rather the service you?d expect at afood kitchen handing out food where every patron should be grateful to be on the receiving end of a free meal. Fantastic quality food and a huge selection. Our new weekend routine is for me to go pick up a Nova bagel for myself and a... cinnamon roll for the wife. During COVID we've been getting takeout, but the patio area is beautiful, especially with all theplants surrounding you from Leaf & Pedal, the nursery next door. I can't believe it took us this long to go. My wife thanks youfor the best homemade cinnamon roll around. Read more
