Unfortunately not the best food we had last night. For the prices you pay, you would expect higher quality of food. We asked our... server how much it would be to have a veggie pasta dish with a white wine sauce and he said it would cost the same as the shrimpscampi dish of $27. (There are no vegetarian entree options on the menu). To order a meat pasta dish it’s only $20 so it wasan overpriced vegetarian dish. The dish came out and the sauce didn’t taste right.. it had a fishiness taste. They brought meanother pasta but it wasn’t anything as special I couldn’t make at home. They sat us in the back under an ugly very bright red fluorescent light. The food is overpriced. Steak was average. The side... vegetables that came with it were bitter and inedible. If you've ever had grilled veggies on a gas grill but they come outtasting like propane... Yeah, that's what it tasted like. I have no idea if they use gas to cook but that's the taste I got. Just ate at Vero Prime. We arrived at 5:10 pm and were asked if we had a reservation. We said no and were escorted to a table... that I would describe as a cave, dark and away from any views, lights, or other diners. Although we were the only party in therestaurant, the hostess said that was the only table available which was not previously reserved. Oh, she also told us that washer favorite table! We felt like we were in time-out, being punished for not having a reservation and being nicely dressed! When we left after 6:00 there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant. My pasta with the shrimp scampi was mush, totallyovercooked and too expensive. My partner’s was also overcooked. This place is nothing special. We live in Vero and willnever go back. Read more
Went here for my birthday dinner last night and everything was absolutely incredible. But the person that made it absolutely... perfect was John Paul. One of the most friendly, hospitable, and genuine people we’ve ever met. His service was impeccable andhe made us truly feel like welcome guests, and it was only his third day! John Paul, thank you for your kindness andrecommendations. We live an hour and half away but we will make the drive and come back here again because of you. The food wasalso delicious. Highly recommend the wood grilled octopus, it was amazing. Will definitely be back! Read more
Excellent service very friendly staff. Great location and ambiance. Very much like a high class steak restaurant for a local... eatery. But patrons watered down the vibe with dress code downgrades and older clientele who have probably been lifelongpatrons. Early Bird menu? First sign that business is suffering for an establishment like this. Mushrooms and onion soup werevery tasty. Great flavors with garlic and sherry. But my steak was definitely not prime cut of meat. Very tough and meaty. Askedfor butter to put on the steak and they brought liquid butter. Very disappointed in the ribeye. We were visiting. Read more
I really enjoyed this meal at Vero Prime! I hadn’t been there in years, since they were at their old location. The inside is... beautiful and feels like a proper upscale steakhouse. The menu is interesting, including some salads that I want to go back andtry! Mt friend had the beef Wellington special (pictured) perfectly cooked medium rare. I had a special of beef short ribs andtortellini. The service was attentive without being pushy. We were too full for desert, and even took some leftovers home! Iwill return for sure! Read more
Great meal. We were quickly and pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere was cozy and the server was... friendly, helpful and quick. The food was very good and flavorful. There were several small outdoor tables which looked verynice. Will be back! Read more
Overall experience not what I expected. Food was good but perhaps could have been prepared better for the price. Parking... situation is not great and you have to walk through a bar from the parking lot to get to the main restaurant. Staff wasreasonably attentive but overall would have expected a higher level of service and at atmosphere for the price and image theyappeared to be projecting.
