I was craving a burger and excited to try this place, based on all of the positive reviews! My experience was not so great... though. Perhaps they were having an off-night, but my food was not to the price point. I ordered online, no specialinstructions (for example, I did NOT ask for a rare burger). While the patty was generously sized, from the center, all the wayuntil almost the bottom of the patty it was pretty darned rare, definitely more so than medium rare, leaving the impression thatthis temp was not deliberate, rather an oversight in how it was cooked (otherwise, just the center would have been so pink). Also, while I appreciate that it was generous, the cheese was too much/overwhelmed it a bit, and was pretty oily. Fries, whileflavorful, were way too greasy and not crunchy. I was not late in picking up my order either, at least not based on the timethat the DoorDash pickup app gave me, and did not have a long drive home, but since I know that carry out is never as good ashot from the kitchen to one's table, will give some credit to offset this. Still, the food did not meet my expectations. I dohope this was a one-off, as I want all of our local businesses to thrive, and the young lady who handed me my food was verynice. Read more

Went here to try something new - it was a pretty big letdown. The menu is mostly burgers, but their house special is pad Thai.... I got the pad Thai with chicken, as I wasn't in the mood for a burger. (The only other entree option was a special on thechalkboard, but it was marked as sold out. I'm not sure I understand how this happens at 545 on a Saturday). The pad Thai wasspicy, which I wasn't a big fan of. So spicy that a couple across from us, who had both gotten the dish, watched me take myfirst bite and had a good laugh. They asked if I'd like more of it, because they hadn't finished theirs and they were willingto share! The pad Thai was also sweet, which was just confusing. The worst part was the chicken, which was an upcharge, and wascooked so beyond the point of done there was no moisture in it at all. So I just had big cubes (it wasn't sliced thin as youwould normally see it in pad thai) of dry terrible chicken in this sweet-and-spicy mess. The service was not great. The foodwas disappointing. Wouldn't return here. Read more

My husband and I just LOVE this place. The staff and chef are phenomenal! A local family owned business. A rear find in this... area for fine dinning and a must try. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed by a single item on theirever-changing menu. A place you can keep going back to and never eat the same thing again. Try it you won?t regret it!!!Everything is super fresh and the right portion size. Never left there still hungry or too full. Read more

We just made a detour from the interstate to try the burgers, and it was worth it! Bob was a fantastic host who was both kind... and accommodating, and even told some great stories for us. The chef not only made great burgers (we had the farmhouse andsmokehouse with the beast upgrade), but also pad Thai (which wasn?t expected). They even made some changes to accommodate ourniece who was traveling with us! We?re going to try and stop by again on our way back. Read more

A lovely boutique experience with eclectic vibes and edible art. I loved the quaint bistro feel with a simple yet elegant menu.... They are know for their burgers but I opted for the house special salad. It was a light, balanced palate cleanse of fieldgreens, goat cheese and sliced strawberry with a light citrus vinaigrette . The salad could have easily been a main course forsome one with a smaller appetite. For the main course, I chose the Amish chicken with grits and Brussels sprouts. The chickenfell off the bone, the grit were creamy and hot over cheesed:) flash fried Brussels sprouts are always a fav of mine?? to endthe meal, I opted for their unique rendition of a traditional carrot cake. Their vegan and gluten free adaptation had theconsistency of a toasted marshmallow. Smooth and creamy on the inside and a crisp on the outside. I was extremely surprised onthe presentation but even more surprised in how much I enjoyed it! Thank you for a lovely evening with great music. Read more

CHEF on PREMISES! Great BEER Selection. Quality burgers, they asked me what temperature I would like my burger, Not, How you... want it cooked? And, they made it just perfect for me! Restaurant is low key, dimly lit, great place for that special someone. The staff was outstanding, they will accommodate! The most amazing thing, I asked "Where does your grass fed beef come from?"They replied, "Brasstown Beef, NC." Very impressive, they have satisfied the C.O.O.L. labeling requirement. "Country ofOriginal Labeling" because the U.S. government doesn't want you to know where your beef comes from so they can sell you lessdesirable beef from other countries MIXED with American beef. This restaurant makes the best burger on the strip so far. Thebeer here is of very good quality. Read more
