The food was really good but Sean has zero personality and was the one at the bar tending. If you’re going to be a bartender... whether you own the place or not you should be personable and inviting. He was neither, he was very blunt and couldn’t evengive a smile. It felt more like we were a bother to be there giving our service and our bill was $100. The worst part was weasked for a bottle of wine and instead were charged by the glass for a whole bottle.. He didn’t have a full bottle open andused the remaining halves out of two bottles. So we paid $12-14 more than if he would’ve done it by the bottle. How does thatmake any sense and why were we penalized? We won’t be coming back. Read more
Hmmm, not great but not bad either. Shouldn't really call itself an Irish bar. Some football flags, a ceramic Leprechaun and... some green hats dotted about the place doesn't quite cut it. Having Irish blood and family living there I'd say qualifies mytake on the place????. Had a couple of beers and some potato skins which were veering towards the 'miss' rather than 'hit'. Iwouldn't say "don't go there", and I can't say what the other meals are like. If you want authentic, there's only one place...???????? Read more
After a nice outing at downtown Friday my neighbor and I went to find a place to eat dinner. We came upon Sean Ryan's pub and... decided to go in. It was medium crowded but we were taken right to a booth and our server was right there asking what drinks wewould like. Our drinks arrived and we ordered our food. My friend ordered salmon and I felt like a tuna melt. In my mind I sawtoast piled high with tuna salad and topped with cheese. When it came they were homemade potato chips and a sandwich with alittle bit of tuna on the toast was hard but not toasted hard if you know what I mean the first bite surprised me because therewas no cheese. Next I tried the potato chips and they had a strange taste. I asked my neighbor if she would take she tasted oneand I thought she was going to choke LOL she informed me that the strange taste was rancid oil. She continued eating while Iwaited for our waiter to return when he did stop by I told him about my meal he said that was strange because they cook theirown potatoes and she asked him how often they change the oil and he had no idea he did offer to bring me a slice of cheese, bring me a slice of cheese you understand not take my sandwich back remake it and melt cheese on it, but by that time I was nolonger hungry and not in the mood for him bringing me a slice of cheese. I never saw him again until he approached with thecheck which again surprised us because the bill was over $70 and there was no discount or comp for my meal nor did a managercome by and apologize or say anything to us about it. The best part we should to come though because they had a man and womangroup to entertain. From our location we could not see them but we took it that the man was playing the guitar and the woman wasthe singer and I use that term really lightly. She started out singing and it sounded like a cat in pain. There was no way thatshe could hit high notes yet she tried and strained to do it. The man sitting across from us almost choke Read more
Great atmosphere, food and staff. Live music on weekends starting at 8p. Limited parking out front, park out back and come in... through the rear public door. Unique food choices with specials. I had a burger, my husband had their meatloaf, son, fish &chips, daughter had a huge pork chop. The "totchos" appetizer was good as well! Plenty of seating. The bar is huge with sportsplaying on many tv's. We'll definitely be coming back. Read more
This was a good Irish Pub in downtown Vero Beach, the bar is very big which can sometimes work against you because with only 2... people working the bar on a busy night you will have to wait to be served. The menu is kinda limited and I ordered the fish andchips which was very greasy and only subpar compared to other restaurants in the area. They did have a good shepherds pie tho.We ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer which was $12 and you only get 4 jumbo shrimp. This isn't a bad restaurant but itdoesn't fit the bill for a great one either. Read more
