Very nice restaurant. Food and desserts were well prepared. Initially we got the distinct feeling from the hostess and then the... waitress that we might not have been the "clientele" they were used to. As the dinner progressed they softened up a bit as itbecame apparent we could afford to eat there. I would come again but ask the owners to perhaps have a discussion aboutdiversity, inclusion and equity with the staff. Read more
I have a 3 because our entrees were tasty but the portion size was a bit small. The server experience was a 1/5 unfortunately.... For a large group of 7 with a big table we were handed a plate at the end and asked to pass it across the four people to thelast person at the table. It was as if he wanted to do the least amount of work possible. Not what you’d expect for thecost. We went during the week so it was quiet believe only one other table was being serviced outside I noticed that the outdoor... seating isn't over crowded and there is a lot of adequate space between tables unsure if this is due to covid or the way it'salways been but it's nice to see a place not try to cram max capacity in dining and everyone feeling like sardines. Appetizer -shrimp cocktail and muscles (muscles were amazing) Meals - ???? I can't recall what we had since this was few weeks ago, but nocomplaints of the food. Believe I had the lamb (pictures) which was very filling and good, was more fat than I expected of themeat but I don't order that very often. My wife's dinner was the first photo and I preferred that over my dinner. I ordered theside of asparagus and I shouldn't of (didn't finish it) and I think they add way too much hollandaise sauce for my taste. Italso wasn't as crunchy as I'd expect it to. Some pieces were and I loved it but there were too many that were more towards soggywhich is why I reduced a star. The drinks were flavorful and strong so kudos to that. The Ambiance was upscale elegant without being stuffy. The food was beautifully presented. After the appetizer of steak tips in... an amazing tarragon infused bearnaise, I wished I had ordered a steak as it was the most tender and flavorful pieces of beef.However, my veal in a delicate gorgonzola cream sauce did not disappoint. The beef tips were by far our favorite appetizer, thecalamari was amazing, and uniquely filleted not the Rings that are commonplace. The salmon ceviche was a bit flat on Flavorcompared to the other two appetizers. My dining companions chose the osso buco and the salmon, both said they were very good butwould order something different than salmon next time because of so many choices.
