Every single thing here is outstanding. We have tried every single meat. I?m not a turkey person but we ended up trying it... because it was one of the only things still available. It?s freakin good! I love the fatty brisket. Their burgers are awesome.The baked beans with big chunks of brisket? omg. We try to go every Saturday and the owner, John, always treats us like we?veknown each other for 20 years. When they first opened, they had a line out the door and it was disappointing to get there andfind out everything had already sold out. Now they post every time they sell out on their social media stories, they haveanother giant smoker, another pit master to help cut and serve meat, and offer online ordering. I love seeing this place grow.It?s my favorite place in Vero now and we look forward to having lunch here on Saturdays. Read more
Finally! After many years of floating around the globe for the Air Force, I have a place that gives that Texas taste to BBQ... locally. I picked up the Brisket, had it moist. Mac & cheese and green beans. The brisket was what I remember from my years inLouisiana along the Texas border. The Mac & cheese had the perfect cheesy amount and texture. The green beans were a littlerunny but tasted perfect. I got small samples of all the BBQ sauce and they were delicious, just wish the hot sauce washotter. The food alone is worth the 5 star from me but the pitmaster was super friendly and proud of his craft. This speaksvolumes about how much care goes into the process of preparing the food. The space was also super clean. A lot of BBQ placesyou visit have a problem with flies, but not this place. Excellent job. Our family will definitely be eating here again. Mywife is from Louisiana and commented how much she loved her baked potato and how much it reminded her of Jason's Deli. This isnot an easy feat. Read more
My wife and I managed to squeeze in the final minutes of one of their soft openings and we were not disappointed. The only... options remain were the brisket and the sides. The brisket was some of the best we've ever eaten and the side items were justas good. I tried the potato salad and the green beans - both were exceptional! We are looking forward to trying all the othermenu items when they open fully but if our first experience is any indication, this place will offer the best BBQ and Vero andthe surrounding areas. There isn't much room for dining in so you may have to plan on taking your order to go but you are goingto want to give this place a try as soon as you can! We anticipate returning again and again! I?m from Texas, and I had to try some Texas BBQ in Florida. It did not disappoint. I came in about 30 minutes after it opened... and was lucky to try some fantastic brisket. The tastiest pork belly I have ever had. To end my meal with a delicious bananapudding. In the next thirty minutes, they sold out. The people in this town are amazing to cheer in a sold-out Restaurant. Ifyou live here, you're lucky! I got to pass through and will have to try to come again. Read more
Pictured here is brisket, pork belly, sausage, turkey, and pork spare ribs. Sides are potato salad and macaroni and cheese.... Honestly there were no misses. My fav was the pork belly. It was flavorful and melts in your mouth. The brisket FELL apart andthe smoke flavor was THERE. Turkey was moist and also flavorful and ribs fell off the bone! Sausage was very well done. I can?twait to try the jalapeño cheddar!! Potato salad was a mayonnaise based. I?m partial to that particular kind, so of course lovedit. The Mac and cheese a good extra. Great, real-deal Texas barbeque! Brisket is super delicious and smoked to perfection. It's served in nice slices (unlike some... other shredded options here in town....) with great Jalapeño-Cheddar sausage, terrific turkey and pork belly is on point! Greatsides to help offset the meat sweats as well. Banana Pudding is deliciously homemade and not from a packet (like some other BBQjoint in VB). Definitely worth visiting and waiting for, I expect some big things to come as well. --Got a rack of ribs today,they are awesome! Goes well with the blue bell ice cream! Read more
