Great experience. Cozy family owned and run "joint" featuring a great assortment of beers, wines and house drinks. Thor made us... feel at home with suggestions and conversation. Wife loved the "Mermaid Tail". Menu is simple but tasty and offers veganselections. The live band on Friday night added to the cool eclectic vibe! Loved the chicken curry pie and Samosas!! This place was okay. The kilted steak sandwich with potato salad was fantastic! Super tender meat with a slight wine aspect. The... potato salad was also wonderful. My wife had the Asian cashew bowl and added shrimp. She wasn't expecting the shrimp to beblackened which isn't her preference at all. The menu made no mention of it being blackened. We should have sent it back butdidn't. The rest of the salad was good, a little too much cashew maybe. My daughter-in-law had fondue, which she has had beforehere, but this time it had a mustard angle to it that was weird to her. None of us were very fond of it. Caught a late flight into town and was scrambling to find a dinner spot that was still open on a Tuesday. We came across the... mermaid thanks to google and man, glad we came! Everything from the decor to the food was a great experience. When we arrived,there was a group of musicians that were playing Keltic themed Music which was a awesome addition to the ambience.
