I had the worst experience here because of our server, Tony. He had a demeaning and condescending attitude from the moment I... mentioned my dietary restrictions- pescatarian. From not being able to make any accommodations, to not changing his gloves untilI asked, to having me repeat everything I asked for multiple times, it was the worst experience. The food is mediocre andoverpriced to go along with bad service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read more
Tonight my sister and I dined at the Roti in Vernon Hills and witnessed some of the most atrocious behavior I have ever... witnessed from a customer who was being so aggressive and rude we were honestly scared to be there. He was literally screamingat this poor man and demanding a phone number for a supervisor because he wanted 8 servings of food. I wanted to commend theemployee handling the situation (he had long hair in a bun) because the customer was out of control and screaming and the mankept his composure and kept the situation from becoming worse than it could have been. Update: The food was really good, even though I had one bad experience at this location. (See below.) The staff did reach out... and I feel confident that things will improve, so I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I went Saturday evening at 8pm (the site said they closed at 8, but apparently, they closed at9). I could not believe when the young guy who rung me up, used his dirty gloved hand to offer me a free pita (after touchingthe register AND pulling down his mask to scratch his nose!) What is the point in being sanitary, with gloved hands and masks,when your habits are disgusting? Came here for the first time and was very pleased with everything! I was greeted by Brianna who gave me exceptional customer... service. She explained the menu and was able to describe the different foods to insure I would enjoy my meal. I paid just underten dollars for my rice plate and there was an abundance of food! Lots of flavor, very filling, and super healthy ingredientsthat energized me. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern with plenty of open outlets for the public. So if you wantedto come here for lunch while you work on your laptop it would be a great place to do so! My experience at Roti was excellent andI will definitely be coming back very soon! Read more
Aweful, aweful food. Believe me, stay away from this restaurant. I ordered a Mediterranean chicken. What I received was a very... SMALL amount of food which did not full even half a bowl. I was still ok with the little amount of food if the taste was good.Sadly, the taste was also aweful. It was so bad that I had to throw the food. I wish I could give it minus stars. I have neverhad such a bad experience in ordering food. To sum up, both the size of food you receive and the quality of food is literallyAWEFUL. btw, the food is also too greasy.
