I'll be full for a day at least. The food portions are HUGE and the all tasted GREAT. Didn't take long for our food to arrive... and we were all stunned by the size of the portions. Really cool atmosphere inside. The old brick and wood makes it look reallyneat inside. Can't wait to go back again!! Read more
Went for Sunday brunch with family. The building is reallly nicely done in an urban, industrial, upcycled motif. We had a wait... of 20 minutes with empty tables in view. We got our drinks. Coffee was very good. The menu is limited and encourages the dinerto take a leap as the dishes are odd mixes. I didn't see anything that was appealing so I played it safe with steak and eggsminus the bbq sauce for the steak. My boyfriend ordered the same. First the table decided to split one of the talked aboutcinnamon rolls. It looked lie a giant muffin. We were barely able to cut it with a steak knife. Looked and tasted over cookedthe center was soft. Not impressed. When our food FINALLY came out, a good 45 minutes it was also not impressive. My boyfriendsegss and my eggs looked like they were cooked by two different people. Mine were pretty much crispy on all edges and hard yoked.We both ordered over medium, cooked whites with runny yoke. His were slightly under done. Steak was ok but not super hot.Homefries were also ok but not really hot either. Others at the table had mixed feelings on the food but overall not reallypositive. It was nice to have live music and he was great but it was too loud to try to have conversations. Coffee was good. Wedrank a lot of it (having to wave down staff) because we waited so long. Good food good atmosphere
My son and daughter in law had their wedding and reception at The Mason Jar and it exceeded our expectations. Everything ran... smoothly, the food was excellent and their wedding coordinator, Michelle, was outstanding and tended to all our needs. Everyoneloved the bartender too!
