Menu for A1 Brick Oven Pizza in Vernon, CT

About a year ago when we first moved into the area we ordered from here regularly. Over time the quality of pizza was hit or... miss and eventually we moved on to other pizza places. Pizza often included cold toppings and you could tell they would justthrow stuff on top of the pie after it was baked. I don't know if that meant we were receiving an old pizza, or if they forgotto add our toppings before it was cooked. Either way, the experience sucks and we had to stop ordering from there. In recentmonths the owner has starting sending spam texts to people who ordered from there in the past to try and get people to comeback. Despite asking to be removed from this list multiple times the spam texts have continued. I wouldn't have even botheredwriting a review, but they keep sending me texts and I need to speak out. The worst experience ever! We where in the area shopping with our toddlers. Seeing it was dinner time, decided to stop by. The... pizza they gave us was obviously old and had just been reheated. When I finally said something to the owner he first told me Iwas mistaken. Then questioned why we had eaten it if it was old. To which I explained my husband had a couple of slices but itwas inedible for the kids and myself. He finally owned up to the fact that the pizza was a left over from a no show customer! Hethen called me CHEAP! and offered to give me my money back. I?m sorry no amount of money will make up for the fact that my kidswill have to go to bed hungry because of this man. I ordered a panini and was given a sandwich with rye bread. Where were the roasted red peppers, um no they put raw green peppers... on them. Bacon was under cooked. Called them to that's what you ordered. They need to learn what panini bread and roasted redpeppers are, also cook your food before sending it out to a customer. They just lost a customer!!
