My last few visits have not been the best. My orders have been wrong due to the fact the staff is not paying attention to... detail. (3) different orders with wrong sandwiches being made and then causing me to hang around another 10 min. while theycorrect their mistake. Very frustrating when you're hungry and very unacceptable. The last order I had placed the sandwicheswere lousy and my Italian Chicken which had to be remade wasn't even warm and was very dry. Read more
Friendly & helpful staff. Really great tasting sandwiches! The quality meat of Boars Head does make a difference. My fave is the... Turkey on sourdough- delicious. I've also had their deviled egg potato salad & the red potato salad both are really good (I'mnot usually a potato salad fan) I just recently had the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado panini and that was so good. Too many greatchoices. Hubby had the Reuben and said it's one of the better ones he's had. I also love supporting a local small business. Read more
My favorite sandwich shop in town by far. I?ve tried The Hot Italian, The Aztec, and their Rueben sandwich and all of them are... incredible. The employees are always friendly and helpful in my experience. The only downside of this place is it can take awhile to get your order so I suggest calling ahead. Well worth the wait any day though! This is my go to sandwich place for lunch. I hit them up pretty much twice a week. Good quality meats and excellent bread. My... only advice to anyone reading this, order ahead and order online. My wife and I both got our favorite sandwich at the Ventura Sandwich Company, the hot Italian sandwich. Not sure why this... sandwich is so good, but there is no denying its flavor. This place has the absolute best sandwiches in Ventura. If you arelooking for something special to eat try the Heart Attack sandwich. You won?t be disappointed with any sandwich. Read more

I ordered from here the first time the other day and was not disappointed. I got the classic pastrami which had a ton of meat on... it. If I had to guess it was around the pound. I was only able to eat half the sandwich and use the other half later for anothermeal. This place is quite a business so I would recommend ordering ahead if you?re going around lunchtime. I also got the eggpotato salad which was delicious they use the resers brand so you can?t go wrong. Excellent food! The only incident I had was when I pre ordered. I went in a and no one greeted me or asked for my name. I... then asked if my sandwich was ready only to see her get my sandwich from the heat lamp area. It had been ready the whole time Ihad been standing there.
