Place is clean and service is good, but taste and quality of the food has drastically decreased, maybe they forgot to salt my... food? My wife got a shrimp burrito and some of the shrimp werent deveined and were overcooked and tasteless. I had two shrimpburritos and a potato taco. The potato taco was good, but the shrimp tacos were bland. They must have changed the taco shellsthey used because they were not great. I remember the salsa tasting much more flavorful, unfortunately at this visit they werelacking taste. I probably won't visit this location again for the foreseeable future. Read more
The quality/quantity for the price just isn't there. They charge $4 for a small bag of chips... Their prices have claimed faster... than inflation over the years without keeping quality up. There are so many other places in Ventura to get better priced Mexicanand seafood. Read more
Fish in your burrito? I want sure about it but I had to give the signature Jack's burrito a shot. Suffice to say I was quite... happy with my choice. The space is nice and open, the food is great, and the staff is swell. Parking may be a struggle at peakhours, but it is worth the effort if you make it out this way. Read more
Pretty good grilled fish tacos for $5.50 each. Good amount of fish cooked perfectly served w ample cheese, chips and two choices... of many salsas. They are not Baja style so no cream on top but otherwise still tasty. Read more
I can?t believe that I?ve been eating here for three years and it?s finally taken me this long to write a review. Snapper jacks... is one of my favorite places in Ventura. This is where I bring all my friends who come from out of town. The primary reason:fish tacos! The fish tacos are amazing. If you?ve never come here make sure you try the fish tacos. I highly encourage you toget them battered. With the crispy shell. Let?s be honest we?re not coming here because we?re counting calories, we?re cominghere because we want fish tacos. No I want to be clear. I other things here than fish tacos. I also really enjoy the chiliVerde burrito. I like to get it without a tortilla. The chips here are amazing. They have a lot of salsa options. Right now youhave to request what you want but that?s OK the staff is really friendly. Love this place! Got the Mini Jack combo & subbed my beans & rice for a salad with ranch. Chicken taco with crispy flour... tortilla & a side of chips. The Snapper Sauce they have is so delicious! Goes great on anything you get there! Definitely ahighly recommended place! Read more
Good food and good music. This place seems to be busy all of the time. Haven't had anything that we didn't like. The portions... are good sized as well! The crunchy tacos were a little softer than I like, but the flavors are there, so it's not even acomplaint. Read more
