Get the Breakfast Musubi, it?s scary accurate! The ?bacon? is beautifully marbled and the ?eggs? are just the right texture! ... The sushi is very filling. I hope Sea Ranger grows and gets it?s own place somewhere with more foot traffic like in DowntownVentura. In the meantime, give them your business! Read more

The best selection of vegan sushi I've ever found. The rolls aren't cheap ($13-$16) but they are GIGANTIC. Two of us ordered a... total of four rolls and we had to ask for a takeout box because we could only eat half of the order. Read more

Surprisingly filling portions of delicious vegan iterations of some classic seafood dishes. Firstly, if you haven?t been there,... it?s towards the community outreach church in the back and it has minimal, hard to read exterior signage. Secondly, it?s in afood court hall of sorts so there are some nearby options for drinks if their limited soda/water options aren?t (like veganhorchata at the Mexican spot right next to it!). But back to the main topic - their food. Great vegan seafood, price to reflectlocation. Would definitely return ???????? Read more

I forgot to take a photo before we got to digging in because I was so excited to eat! The food was phenomenal! The service was... outstanding! You can tell they really have a passion for what they are doing. If I could give this place 10/5 stars, I would!Everything in this photo is vegan. Pictured here are the buffalo wings, jalapeño poppers, the spicy tuna roll, and the crunchytiger, hidden dragon roll. All AMAZING! Shout out to my boy, Benjamin at the counter with all the knowledge and hospitality! Read more

Went here for the vegan / plant-based food! I'm a breakfast girl and it's so hard to find good vegan breakfast eats. But Sea... Ranger doesn't disappoint. I got tht breakfast burger and it was amazing. Next time I'll order the eggs & sausage or abreakfast sandwich or omelet. They all looked so good it was hard to pick just one! We also got the patty melt and it wasyummy. The sushi though. That's the real star. It's huge! And fresh and tasty... And still vegan! I wish they had actual kidmeals because my three kids would have loved it, but I got them each the Jr Ranger which is 2 fried fish sticks with chips(fries). And honestly the fish and chips were possibly my favorite part of the order. When we go back (and we will definitelygo back--My kids don't get any opportunities to eat vegan food at restaurants and they love this!) We will order more off thebreakfast menu and try some of their desserts. A few other things to know about Sea Ranger is the location. It's tucked back ina center and you can't see it from the street. I hope it makes it because it's in a pretty cool little spot. There's plenty ofseating. Indoor and outdoor. The restroom situation is kind of a bummer. You need a key to get in but it gets the job done. Read more

Vegan food hasn't failed to impress me thus far on how close it is to tasting like it's real meat counterparts. Sometimes it's... even better and the Sea Ranger was no exception. The Southwest Burger was very tasteful and topped with that bomb houseguacamole! Vegan wings were a first for me & although they had a very different texture than I could've imagined they were stillworth trying out and enjoying. ONLY real issue I had was the food was on the heavy side with the salt. Other than that it wasgreat & I can't wait to come back and try that highly popular sushi! Read more
