This is a dishonest business with terrible customer service. I ordered a burger and fries that should have came out to less... than $10 according to their menu prices that are posted on the building, but they charged me $13. When I asked about the pricethey decided to charge me for a burger combo instead and it brought the total closer to what it should have been but they didn'tgive me the drink or make my food the way I ordered it. When I told them they made the food incorrectly the kid didn't care. Ieven tipped them $2 for correcting the pricing, idk what their deal was today but terrible customer service. The burrito was decent, I ordered the chille verde pork, not the most flavorful I've had but the ingredients did taste fresh. It... wasn't wrapped up very well though, it started falling apart while eating it which was kinda annoying. I got the two mildestsalsas (red and green) which had almost no flavor or spice at all, so maybe go for the medium or hot. The service when I wasthere today was not super friendly, the guy working seemed like he just didn't want to deal with customers. I get that everyonehas an off day but I was already having an off day myself and didn't really appreciate the vibe. I might try this place againbut might not. It's across from a decent laundromat so I might eat there again out of convenience but I probably wouldn't go outof my way to eat here when there are so many other options in Ventura for Mexican food or burgers. This was one of my favorite places to eat in Ventura. But, sadly, the last couple years have been awful. First, the food quality... went way down. They worked on it and it has improved, but now it is the employees. I am not sure if it is just inadequatetraining or the old hire family thing, but service is bad. The last 3 times the cashier could not find items on the register.And the last time she way overcharged. When I pointed out the problem, she 'corrected' it and told me the new price. My faultthat I did not look closely at the receipt, but I was still charged the much higher price. It is going to be very hard not to gothere because I do love a couple of the items, but if I do, I will be very, very careful. Read more
We live right down the road and this has been our go to for means on the go. However the last three encounters, have been pretty... bad. Twice now we have called in our orders and when we go to pick up they have forgotten to make them. We always ask for onionand cilantro, and lately they never add it. Even things like guacamole or sour cream, we?re charged for and don?t get added. Thethird time, we tried calling in around 6:30, knowing they close at 7. We called about 5x with no answer. When we pulled up at6:45, we watched the cashier change the open sign to close. 15 min early? so I asked him if they were still taking orders.Luckily he did help us, however, again we were still missing add ins. Once or twice I get, they are human too and we all makemistakes, but it?s sadly becoming more consistent and makes us reconsider ordering from here. Read more
The service was pretty off putting. The cashier just stared at us silently and barely listened to our order. We didn't mind it... too much, but the food is inexcusable... Burger was excellent! Loved the logo they seared on the bun. Super cool. Great menu and prices.
First time here , I am tired of the usual fast food places so we stopped here for a burger. Burgers were good, fries a little... bland, horchata taste like the store bought kind. Probably go back to try a burrito Read more
