The coffee is quite good- on the pricier side but worth it? as long as it?s to go. I ordered a $4 coffee of the day (plus... tip)for here, and I brought my laptop to get some work done for an hour or so. Went to plug in my laptop and there were nooutlets anywhere? I asked the barista if there was anywhere I could plug in and she said no. Super bummed to take my coffee togo and be left looking for somewhere else to get some work done. I understand people camp out at shops for too long withoutcontinuing to support said business, but that was not what I was planning to do. The coffee here is delightful, really a cut above any other place I've been near and far. Just wow.
Probably the best $3 coffee you can find. They do a rotating ?coffee of the day? for $3.25. They use their own beans and it?s an... automated pour over. Pretty good. This place is a hidden gem for coffee. If you enjoy good coffee, then look no further. The coffee is roasted in house and... sometimes, you can even see them roasting the beans while you wait. I had their specialty coffee this time and it was an orangechocolate blend. It tasted like that orange flavored chocolate ball. It was scrumptious. Yes. I said scrumptious. Beacon coffee is a treat on those mornings I find myself in Ventura. The coffee selection is simple and precisely... prepared. The staff are friendly and helpful. More recently, I have found that the pastry offerings are always delicious. Beit a muffin, a hand pie or a small tart, the selection has been different every time I visit. There is always a twist to theselection which makes the pastry unique and memorable. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more
Very Clean, Super Friendly Staff. I had cold brew and it was extremely tart, just not my taste but, I know a lot of other people... like this kind of taste. It's also quite expensive, but I think this is because they make the coffee from scratch. I onlyrecommend if you are into unique-tasting coffee. I just think my taste must be pretty basic ????
