Good food, friendly service. I had the waffles w/ chicken sausage and poached eggs. The waffles were light and fluffy that I... easily finished the thing. Sausage was a little too salty for my taste but tasty. Coffee was nice and hot - kept warm by thethermos too. Will def come back to try their other dishes. Read more
Ordered the French Omelette, it was pretty good. I was hesitant because most restaurants overcook eggs, especially if it's a... 'French' omelette, but the eggs were tender, not brown at all, with a very soft egg curdle interior. Very impressed! I orderedhash browns and the serving size was a little light, and the color/crispiness could have been better, but they weresatisfactory. The day's special scone was chocolate chip and it was okay, but I think simple toast is a better pairing with anomelette. A party member ordered the corned beef skillet and it was surprisingly great (considering I don't normally enjoycorned beef). They do though and they said it was excellent as well. We also ordered a single potato pancake and it waspleasant. I've had better, but there weren't bad at all. A pretty darn good breakfast place (haven't tried the lunch good.)Definitely will return. Absolutely fantastic!!! Firstly the staff and especially our server (possibly a girl called Chelsea? It began with a C anyway..... sorry) were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us. I very greedily ordered the eggs Benedict over Canadian bacon and a toastedmuffin with a hash brown PLUS the mixed fruit pancakes which came.with an abundance of delicious strawberries and despite mysmall size I ate it all and even a bit of my mum's lol The portions were great and it was all very scrumptious. I thought about giving it one star so no one would give there and crowd the place. Not only is the food GREAT, it seems true to... the homemade claim. Also, if you have a gluten allergy, their gluten free waffles are probably the best we ever had. Our server,Vanessa, was excellent and went out of her way to help us.
