Great place to hangout with friends and family. Easy access to beach and fishing pier. You don't need to have a fishing license... to fish on pier. They do have a casual restaurant and fancy dining room. They have showers near restaurant so you can rinse offafter beach. A lot of tables around the bar. Beautiful view . Read more
Overall a great energy! There was live music and great views if you sit outside. Indoors is a little diner-y. The food itself is... good, but not amazing. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere and the view since it is right on the beach. Prices arepretty typical for Venice (and a place on the beach). Our waitress was so kind and attentive. The atmosphere was fun but not overwhelming. The music was enjoyable but not too loud and crazy (live band) drinks weren't over... priced and tasted great- Beach front and pier access during the sunset was amazing. We haven't been to Sharkys in years yet theynever fail to deliver an exciting Florida experience. Prices weren't ridiculous but be prepared to start around $15 for mostappetizers. I had the swordfish 8oz blackened and it was prepared to perfection! All in all this is a wonderful experience foranyone but especially if you're 21+ for an optimal "tropical getaway". I cannot recommend this place enough! Next year we planto level up to "Fins", the upscale place on the second level. Walk the beach, take a sip, and soak up the sunshine! Welcome toFlorida! Read more
For a place on the beach it has a very nice selection of interesting food. They also have the standard fare and is a little bit... pricey but that's what you get on the beach. I had the shiraki chicken sandwich and left a little to be desired. You couldn'treally taste the sauce. The price bowl with tofu was very good according to my daughter. Typical pricey tourist trap, but worth it. The folks who run the t-shirt concession were great, super friendly , and Informative... about the layout of the place and how to avoid some of the herding at the restaurant line. (Plus they can rent you ashark-tooth-finder-thingamajig for a few bucks and your ID) Great view from the beach, from the pier, and even some of thebar/restaurant seating. What a great spot! Organizer chaos but very fun. Large complex. Food is genuinely good and great location. Multiple bars and... seatings. Nachos had a bay seasoning shrimp which was fun. Complementary bread , dessert almost? large large menu. Read more
Very popular beach side restaurant and bar with a great vibe. Be prepared to wait to find parking and for a table inside or out... especially on weekends. The service is friendly and swift, the food was terrific as usual.. clam chowder, fried shrimp, salad,chicken fingers. A little expensive but worth it! Read more
We had family in town and wanted to take them someplace nice for dinner. Sharky's was perfect! We walked the pier while waiting... for a table and got amazing sunset photos. Then the dinner was perfect! Delicious sea food, crab legs, fish, all of it wasawesome. We will be back for sure! Read more
