My mother, wife and I had the most wonderful time at Prime Steakhouse in Venice. Our waitress Toni was very nice, knowledgeable... and had some great suggestions to make our dining experience exceptional. We ordered two of the $40 Summer Specials which is agreat value. We went to leave and it was raining out but no worries because General Manager Jackie was escorting everyone totheir cars with an umbrella. I highly recommend Prime Steakhouse Venice. Read more
So. Last night we went to the Prime stake for the first time. I were so excited! It is 5 minutes from my home. I love meat! It... was a great deal 2 for 40$! I thought it is great to have the Prime steak next to us. Thenrestaurant is beautiful! I love thecolors. The busses was small only for 2 people, but they had four silver sets for 4 people! Hpw can you fit 4 people at the tinytable. Lol. The stuff are very friendly. The waiter made a salad for us. So , I guess the owner safe some money for the Pantrycook. Lol I fill sorry for servers. So. Salad and bread was great! Now! The MEATS! THE BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT FOR THE DAY! Ilove meat with good seasoning. My meat had no spices AT ALL! COOK DID NOT SEASONING OUR MEAT AT ALL! we had to add salt andpepper by themself. The drunken meat had no flavour at all. I did not taste anything except charcoal grill. Lol I asked to havemy steak midium and it was medium rare, I hate rare meat. Meat was tough and low quality ends. So, I guess this.prime steakhiusecan not afford to get the Professional grill cook. I will be back to the Fynns. They meats are the best in town. I amprofessional cook. I know.what I am tolking about . it is very hard job to cook meats. So. I guess I will not be back. I wasnot going to.bring my friends. Ahh. So disappointed. 2 starts because we liked the bread and salad. P.S. The coffee is sucks andcheep,and cold. We were looking for some nicer fare in the Venice area, and we couldn't be happier with our experience at Prime Steakhouse. The... staff were all very friendly and nice. Every single aspect of the food was phenomenal. Everything from the salad to the PrimeRib, and even down to the blue cheese butter on some steaks were all fantastic. And the mile-high chocolate cake was deliciousand huge! They also have a kids menu! And our server (Spencer) went the extra mile to take care of our kids and make sure theywere fed and happy! There?s so many terrible things about this location. The cooks have no idea what a Pittsburgh style steak is. The manager Jackie... seemed to be on heavy drugs. Our waiter delivered our wine and asked us to ?taste it? to make sure it was the right one. Afterordering and receiving the porterhouse NOT Pittsburgh style the manager Jackie tried to fix it by sending it back and saying?this is our reverse Pittsburgh style? overcooked and burnt. She did try to fix it by making a new one but clearly by the photos(pic1) the cooks only seared the outside but the inside was raw and freezing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY or TIME! This was an amazing experience, we live very close but waited until season was over to try this new restaurant in Venice.... Jonathan made it A joyful afternoon. We also had Stacy the manager come and say hello to us, so friendly. This is just a fewpictures of what we had, including Bacon and eggs which was truffle deviled eggs and pork. Excellent service, great selection of items to choose from & they even give recommendations for entrées and wine pairing. Had... the beef wellington with a glass of box head Shiraz. It came with a house salad, tossed in a peppercorn vinaigrette, and freshlybaked bread with two kinds of butter. First time at a Prime Steakhouse. It won't be my last! If you're in the downtown Venicearea looking for a great place to eat, you should try it. There's another location in Port Charlotte if that's closer. The calamari appetizer is delicious and a must try. We enjoyed a steak with a Caesar salad. Lots of seating and had no... problems getting seated on a weekday (first come first serve). Kids welcome. The tuna tartar was very salty but the fish wasfresh. The waiter moved the meal at a nice place without rushing for us to leave. Free parking available. Read more
