What a disappointment! The Hawaii 50 was mostly broccoli & gravy and only small amounts of the meat and seafood expected. .... .My wife had their crab Rangoon and it literally made her sick. The disaster was rounded out by a large order of vegetablefried rice that had ALMOST NO VEGETABLES IN IT! Hint: There is another restaurant offering these dishes in Venice and it ismuch better for about the same pricing--my bad. YUK! Read more
Horrible food. Will never order from here again. They obviously don't care about what they serve or their work environment. The... food was not authentic or tasted anything like what I've ordered from many Chinese restaurants over the years. They are verystingy with their servings. Don't go here, you'll be disappointed. The temperature of the restaurant on a 90° day was about 78-80 inside. I wouldn?t enjoy eating a hot meal in their dining room.... The service was fast for a call ahead soup and eggroll. I wouldn?t consider the pork eggroll to be much of a ?pork? eggroll-completely lacked any pork. The hot and sour soup is.. hot but not so much sour. At other restaurants I?ve received this soupwith a mix of vegetables which add textures and flavor. Mushrooms and an unknown onion looking vegetable were all that wasfound. I thought it lacked the flavor that it deserved. I would likely not return due to food flavor. I will say my food wasextremely hot so I don?t doing that it was fresh. Maybe other things are good from here, for take out. Read more
Hard to call it a Chinese Restaurant, as everyone working there when I picked up my order was a white highschool kid. Worn, old... Help Wanted sign on the door too. Big red flags for anyone who's worked in restaurants. My order was terrible all-around, Isent my son back to return it for a refund. Read more
If you want decent Chinese in Venice go to China Taste of Wang by Walmart. Do NOT go here to China Jade. Probably the worst... Chinese food I've had outside a school cafeteria. No spice (or flavor whatsoever) on undercooked, soggy General Tso's...over abed of raw broccoli. Steamed rice overcooked into porridge. Crab Rangoon obviously come from the freezer, as mine arrived belowroom temperature. And they also messed up my order, upcharging for a "house special," which would have been fine if it wasn'tthe aforementioned near-inedible Gen Tso. I don't return meals to restaurants often, maybe once a decade, but this place got thetreatment. One star instead of ZERO, because they did finally offer me a refund. Read more
Welcome to the Venice food desert...another Asian restaurant in the area that doesn't sell brown rice. They only sell unhealthy... white and fried rice. Pretty amazing a Asian restaurant doesn't realize processing rice removes the majority of thenutrients...in a staple food that billions of people rely on! Read more
I LOVE that they have a veggie only section of the menu. Food was fantastic! Kudos!! I'll be back often for sure.
