Reviews for Burgundy Square Cafe in Venice, FL
Vicki was my friendly, attentive waitress for my first visit to Burgendy Square Cafe. I was on the island of Venice to explore... restaurants. I was very happy with this hidden gem. I had the fish and chips which came with another side. I went with the soupof the day creamy broccoli. I highly recommend. Thanks Vicki Read more
One of the better places for quality service. We loved the outdoor ambiance. Onion rings were good for homemade battered. The... lobster roll was no joke. Coleslaw was homemade and good as well. Many other things on the menu I want to try, so we will beback (and bring friends). Read more
Had an early dinner there when we were coming from Brandon on our way back to Naples. We started with the lobster bomb, which is... lobster bisque in a bread bowl. Kind of like the clam chowder bread bowl in San Francisco. It was delicious! And they do notskimp on the lobster. Next we both had the lobster rolls. They were great. And again, they did not skimp on the lobster. It wasreasonably priced as well. Finally we had the chocolate cake and it was really good. Glad we stopped by and you should too. Read more

I had been here years ago and wanted to try it again. I remember really loving it. I love that they have local artists artwork... all over the restaurant. I also love their menu options and the vintage collection of salt and pepper shakers. I love that theyhave an eclectic collection of coffee mugs from the thrift store. I had the veggie omelette with home fries. My sister had thespinach and feta quiche with a side of the ?fresh? fruit. The fruit was bad so she returned it and got the home fries instead. Ireally liked my veggie omelette and ate all of it. My sister didn?t really like her quiche only because the crust was nothomemade (it was a frozen store bought), and the feta was overwhelming and made the quiche very salty. Hence, 4 stars instead of5. I would go again. But there are a lot of places in Venice that I?d like to try for breakfast. Read more
