Do not let appearances fool you. Although it is nestled in the same complex as a cheap motel, this place is beyond amazing. We... were only in Venice for 1 night but ate here twice because our experience was so great. We had 3 adults and 2 children who atebreakfast and lunch. Everything at our table was absolutely delicious with generous portions. It is obvious that the food ismade with care and they don't cut corners. Our family dines out regularly and we still talk about how good the food was here. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. I wasn't sure about all of the awards they had posted as youenter, but now I know they have completely earned every single one. Can't wait to return next time we go shark tooth hunting inVenice! Blu? Island Bistro serves up a phenomenal breakfast and you are catered to exactly what you want! Great service and very bright... and airy surroundings. There is lots of natural lighting through the windows in one of the back rooms. I created my own veggieomelette and I ate the whole thing! A very cute breakfast or lunch spot for a beach day! Neat little breakfast/lunch cafe with a Florida vibe. Cool and interesting decor, for sure. I tried the Whiskey Bacon Eggs... Benedict today. It was eggs-celent! ???? Next time I want to try the Whiskey Bacon by itself. It was awesome. Staff was superfriendly and attentive. Granted, it wasn't very crowded, but I always appreciate drink refills before I'm empty. Anna Marie our server was very nice and friendly! Excellent service! First time there for breakfast. Food was excellent! I had... the BLT breakfast sandwich. My sandwich had arugula, bacon, egg and fried green tomato on sourdough bread.Hubby had the Cornedbeef hash. Our friends had the Banana French toast and the Frittata with sausage gravy on top. We have always enjoyed the restaurant and mostly because of our server Brooke. She is fantastic! We had quit coming for a while... because it seemed the food was slipping but went in today for my birthday. Discovered it is under new ownership. They didn'tcharge the menu but definitely upgraded the ingredients. Everything was delicious and the staff is happy again. You definitelywant to try this place out. I recommend the Whiskey Bacon and their french toast is always killer!!! Read more
