Reviews for La Cabana Venice in Venice, CA
Chole relleno & handmade tortillas were good
This place makes the most amazing handmade tortillas. Food is also very good but the tortillas are next level. Reasonably priced... and a LA favorite. Been around for a long time. If you want some old school Mexican food, I'd recommend it. Read more
the cheese enchiladas were okay, the cheese was not super melty inside and the rice was a little dry. the flan was the star of... the night and the churros were pretty good but didn't come with the chocolate sauce. Read more
I love the home made tortillas! This restaurant is perfect for entertaining. I take every out of town guest here as a causal... laid back night out. The food and drinks are always on point and the staff is very attentive. If you come on a weekend eveningexpect a short wait. A++ place for eating out in Venice. Read more
We spent the day in Venice and were looking for a nice spot to eat some dinner. Let me tell you this place was so good we were... a party of 12 6 adults six kids. It was our first time eating here and we were very satisfied. The waiters were very attentivebefore we could say we needed a refill they were bringing it. Food is authentic Mexican food and not Americanized which is whatwe wanted we ordered carnitas and barbacoa and Chile rellenos to the kids ordering cheeseburger taco dorados and taquitos plain. Definitely recommend and definitely will be again when we return to Venice. Which is like a 10 minute walk from the roseparking lot at the beach. Read more

While down here from Canada on vacation, my wife and I came here strictly because this was my father in-law's favorite... restaurant in the 70's when he lived in Santa Monica! And boy did it ever impress. The service was attentive and the staff werefriendly. We came at lunch time and we got two lunch specials for $12.75 each. I got the beef tacos and my wife got the chickenenchiladas. Both plates came with beans and rice. Both plates were very filling. There was also complimentary chips that cameprior to our meal arriving. This restaurant has been around since the early sixties, and we can see why. Its also open until3:00am for those who are hungry for a late night meal. Read more
SO much food. And so tasty! Customer service is easily 5 stars. You will never have an empty water cup. Get the fajitas!
