We had a reservation for 5 and the waitress (Laurel I believe) refused to get us an additional seat because the other table also... had a reservation? No one ever came to use that seat. She was rude and, on top of the bare minimum service, decided to giveherself a 25% tip. We should have custom tipped, but it?s always awkward when they?re rushing you to sign. Awful. We stopped here when we visited Venice beach. At first glance the place was full of the young and mostly beautiful hip crowd. We... are a little older than the typical client. But after initially the male wait staff pointing and laughing at me and my husbandholding hands across the table we seemed to win them over and we had a wonderful time talking to the staff and they were quiteattentive to us. We had a lot of drinks and especially liked the orange wine and the cucumber cocktail. Food was very goodalso. All in all we had a great time here. Fun place and great vibe. Read more
Such a good restaurant. Great ocean vibe, nice people, beautiful Light and background music. I ordered here Octopus, burger and... eggplant. My favorite is eggplant with feta, very bright mediterranean taste. It's hard to explain vibe, but these guysdefinately has it. Thanks for your job???? Read more
The food was incredible! My taste buds were singing! We got the octopus and tandoori oyster mushrooms and both were perfection!... I used to love this spot when it was Bank of Venice, and I always worry about these rebrands and if they'll be good. This mealput all that worry to rest! This is now a new local favorite! Also, the whole wine list is natural and organic. They have somegreat bottles and pours by the glass. The staff is friendly and sharp. Drinks and food were okay and staff was abrupt. It definitely seemed like this place is more for the influencer crowd and not... foodies. The waitress barely came back to the table for refills and you have 1.5 hours timed from your reservation to eat andget up and get out. Read more
I?ve never been to Great White - this restaurants? bigger sister to compare but I loved my time at Gran Blanco. We got here... around 11am for brunch and it wasn?t too busy at all for a Sunday. The only difficult thing is finding cheap parking nearby. Theservice was very friendly and everything they recommended that we ordered was delicious. The cocktails are also very tasty! Justhave to warn that the portions are on the smaller side so if you?re hungry I wouldn?t go for the fish tacos or ceviche. TheFrench toast was delicious and very rich. I definitely would recommend to share this as a dessert with a friend. All in allperfect experience at a very pretty and vibey spot in Venice Beach. Read more
Presentation was great. Burger was not so good. The balance between sauce and cheese was not mingling. There are no fries or... soft drink available here... which makes this burger a non burger....imo Read more
Recommended by a friend - and I wasn?t disappointed. A very nice bar, perfect for cocktails and apps. Drinks were good,... especially the White Negroni. The Espresso Martinis were okay-ish. Haven?t had food there yet, but it also looks very good. Read more
