Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants on the beach side of town. The food here are amazing. Like many of the reviews... here indicated, come here to enjoy flavorful food, not for people on a keto or low carb diet. The ambiance was so intimate andgood vibes for celebrating special occasions The service here was excellent. Our waiter was so friendly and know his food verywell. We had some amazing dishes under his recommendations. We started with two appetizers including the famous sfincionefocaccia bread and an ok arugula salad. The focaccia was the high light of the evening. The bread was so fluffy and tasty. Theyeven offered pork fat for dipping. I am still dreaming about this bread. We also ordered two pastas to share. The homepappardelle with short rib was amazingly tasty and the pasta was al dente which means perfectly cooked. The other pasta waspesto Trofie. I like this one better as the flavor was perfect for me. The pasta was also cooked al dente. Finally, wecelebrated my daughter?s fiancé?s birthday with three desserts. When eat in an italian restaurant, a meal wouldn?t be completewithout a tiramisu. This dessert was very creamy and smooth. The other dessert that our waiter recommended was the crostata. This is a pastry dessert with blackberries. We like this restaurant and will definitely return to try out their otherdishes. Although the restaurant offers valet, there plenty of parking spots on the street. This restaurant is very popular inVenice, you definitely need to make a reservation before come to dine here. Food - overpriced but fantastic Service - wonderful. Our server was awesome. And so was the crew who served the food. Hostess:... ATROCIOUS. honestly some Of the most shocking and terrible service we have received. We showed up 16 minutes late. There Was nophone call (like they do as a courtesy at Fia and plenty of other service-oriented fine dining establishments). Instead we weregreeted with an almost impossibly rude hostess who told us that even though we were one minute past the 15-minute grace window, she would be charging us a cancellation fee. Meanwhile, it was a 5:30pm reservation and the restaurant was 40% full. Open tableseverywhere. She then made it seem like she couldn?t seat us because there was a table after us. Meanwhile, that was a lie. Thenwhen we went to leave, we asked if there was any way to reverse the cancellation fee since we just spent hundreds of dollars atthe restaurant. rather than reply in a kind and wonderful ?oh, don?t worry. I decided not to charge you guys.? She made us feellike we were lucky that she forgot to charge us. It was just a horrible way to bookend an otherwise wonderful meal. Read more

Delicious, fresh, full-bodied but light Italian restaurant. Highly recommend the panzanella and stuffed squash blossoms. The... service staff was attentive and kind. A great all around dinner experience. Read more

This is more a 3.5 star review. Food 7/10. Yes it?s a little pricey but it?s truly a labor of love with every meal and that?s... hard to find. I?ve traveled to Italy, the food at Felix la is far superior to most meals I had in Italy so you?re definitelysaving on air plain tickets their alone. Focaccia: 8/10 Pizza: 10/10 Lemon pasta: 4/10 too acidic for my taste Guanciele pasta:6/10 Tirimisu: 10/10 Outside 2/10. I get it, you want to have an outdoor dining area but if you are going to do it just do itright. Their were flies, it was terribly hot and be prepared to battle some crawly insects, I was told I am outside by the host, thankfully because I was so confused by my surroundings I couldn?t tell if I was outside so thank goodness he stated theobvious. Phew ?????????. Wait staff 4/10 (this does not include the bussers, and kind lady who checked us in) just a Mehattitude, but that?s most service now and days sadly. I did purchase a cook book there, so I?m very excited to try the recipesat home and add my own flair but you are coming here for a different experience and making pasta is truly an art form so Irespect the kitchen for sure. Def will be back for tirimisu. Ciao. Read more

The food is absolutely delicious. It was worth the hunt for a reservation. The prawns were succulent and meaty, an amazing ... sauce to dip with the focaccia. The focaccia is unreal, it's so light, airy, crispy, and fragrant with olive oil. The pasta wasso filling to share between two people. The texture and flavor were all there to balance one another. Everything was incredible. No complaints at all, but if you aren't used to how authentic pasta is cooked that might throw you... off. The pretzel bread was delicious and the prawns were the best. Pretty pricy though with drinks and everything for my ladiesbirthday it cost $300 after tip. Worth it though, we could probably cut down on the costs next time. Read more

Hard reservation, but very much worth it. The best Focaccia bread I've ever had. Pasta cannot be fresher. Tagliatelle, Linguine... Al Limon and Foglie di Ulivo were all outstanding. Read more

Beautiful patio, incredible service and kind staff. However, the food truly leaves a lot to be desired. The focaccia truly won... the entire meal. It was absolutely excellent and it set the expectations high. I should?ve just eaten that and left. The squashblossoms lacked some form of acidity/ tang, and left a lot to be desired. They really could have been paired with something tooffset the oiliness and blandness. The burrata and persimmon dish was nothing spectacular. The Diavola pizza was decent, butdefinitely on the too salty side. Overall, the pizza was pretty good, but not excellent. The pastas were the truedisappointment. We got a 9 pm reservation after months of trying to get a spot here, expecting the pasta to blow us away. Thetagliatelle was $40, and I?m still in shock as to why. It was served cold, and was basically just ground meat and pasta. Therewas no sauce, nothing spectacular that distinguished it from other bolognese that I?ve had, and certainly did not justify thecost AT ALL. I truly don?t understand. The portion was also small. The other two pasta dishes were not even memorable enough forme to retell any grand tale. Overall, I?m thankful for the staff, but the food truly is not worth the insane hype that I?veheard for years. I?ve been to many more far superior Italian restaurants, that have cost 1/3 of the prices here. I?m willing tospend more money, but something has to justify the extra cost. Overall, I wouldn?t come back. But I truly wish them the best! Read more
