This was sooooo good. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with truffle hash browns. Hands-down the best breakfast I?ve had... in a while. They have a sauce on their sandwiches that is deliciously unique! The staff was so friendly and service was quickfor a Friday morning(!) in a touristy area. Can?t wait to visit again on my next trip. Warning! The sausage egg and cheese sandwich is well made but explosive! The egg yolk is very runny so bite slowly, you've been... warned. This place offers some unique experience for foreign visitors like myself. The place is in the actual market in downtown. You... are going to have bit of trouble finding parking and it doesn't feel like safest place. But once you get over that state, youwill be treated with great food and atmosphere. Delicious breakfast spot. I went for the first time in downtown LA and I was blown away by the eggslut which is a jar of creamy... mashed potatoes with a perfectly cooked egg on top. This time we stayed at a hotel in Venice, and across the street here itwas, Eggslut! One day I ordered the eggslut and the second I went for the sausage and cheese sandwich. Came here to compare the og Eggslut with the franchise one back home and I actually can't quite find the difference. Both are... good if you like messy scrambled eggs on top notch brioche buns.
