I ordered a large platter for a potluck, explained that I was bringing this to share our culture with my friends and co-workers.... Marie, the owner, personally helped and garnished an amazing platter of fritay. The food was amazing, service was amazing. I only wished I knew that she made her own cremas! I would have ordered some! Next time! They sell pikliz and djondjon theretoo! And pistach griye!???????? Read more

We visited Neguess yesterday. The food was amazing! Best Haitian food I ever had. We ordered lalo, griyo, and cashew, and... drinks. They CAN COOK! The staff were very friendly and professional. Best experience I had at a Haitian restaurant. We defwill be back! Read more

Tried food here for the first time today. My tastebuds were happy. Food was delicious and I only had to ask once for extra... pickleys. The atmosphere is light and the food is delicious. Definitely coming again. Read more

My food took awhile but in the end it was so worth the wait. I drove 45 mins away just for some Haitian food. Where I live there... are no Haitian restaurants in my part of Jersey so I was excited to finally have some amazing Haitian food. Read more

I love Haitian food and couldn't wait to try this spot. I ordered over the phone, the small chicken and gravy with white rice... and the brown sauce and fried plantain. I really wanted black rice but they had no more. When I arrived I parked in front of therestaurant. I walked in and the nice young lady took my payment and it was $10.66. She handed me my food and I left. When I gotto the car I dug in. The chicken was decent, the rice was nice and buttery, the black sauce was bland and the plaintain neededsalt. I ate until the meat was gone and threw the rest away. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best either. Read more

I love supporting restaurants that are consistent. The food is always delicious. I've tried the goat, conch meat, turkey and... chicken and all are spot on Not too fatty or bony (fellow Haitians know what I mean). Their starches are also delicious. Notrecommended if your on a diet :). Otherwise, dig in! Read more

I legit only order from minority owned restaurants especially Haitian and Jamaican restaurants in NJ and NY and being of Haitian... descent myself I love and salivate for Haitian food. Unfortunately this is my first FAIL at a Haitian spot. This time I orderedvia Uber Eats and was sadly disappointed and only ended up eating the fried plantains with pikliz and the kola lakay...theTassot Turkey dry and not seasoned, rice was just the same lackluster and the sauce was basically the juice of the boiled meatsnot actual sauce. The mac cheese had to be a prank (see picture as proof) Uber actually refunded a portion after I sentpictures. I don?t know what else to say...but I?m truly sadden I?ll just go back to my old faithfuls: Woolibam, Good Shepherd,MD Restaurant or Denise?s Place. Read more
