Reviews for Daal Roti - Vaughan in Vaughan, ON
I didn?t have a good experience with another location but this one wasn?t the same. Service was quick and good. Food was good as... well. Their Kaju Masala isn?t sweet so don?t ask them to make it spicy if you don?t like too sweet (it?ll be too spicyotherwise). The server did inform us about that. Read more
After waiting for a long time, we were excited to order food from this location. For a small get together we ordered a tray of... goat curry. It was very disappointing, the curry was more watery and no gravy. The worst part is every piece of meet had bigbone. It was so embarrassing for us as a host to feed our guests bones than real meat. The bones to my surprise were big oneswith some meat sticking around it. I guess they must be buying cheaper meat to keep the cost low. We bought goat curry from somany other places but never see something like this. The worst part is, me and my son both got stomach sick next daymorning. Very disappointing Total waste of money Not worth. There are so many other places around this area to get better foodIndian Food. Good luck Read more
Food was good. We tried kaju masala for the main course which was ok - we expected much better taste, other than that soup and... hara bhara kebab was delicious. Service was good too. Pretty satisfied Read more
Clean and spacious Ambience.Polite Staff. They have both buffet and ala carte. But preferred by customers for lunch buffet (... Veg. & Non - Veg included) which is tagged at $ 16.99 before tax per person at present. The buffet is ok for the price but canbe better. Managing a buffet place is tricky as many things go stale unless frequently checked by the staff. During my visit Ifound the goat curry and tandoori chicken fresh in non veg section. Butter chicken on the contrary was hard and not fresh.Thebuffet table curries especially the non veg section had only curries but I had to play hide and seek to get pieces ofmeat.Though on informing the staff they arranged for the pieces. The veg selection was delicious especially paneer lababdar. Indesserts tried their Gajar Ka Halwa. It was okish .Rice pudding was ancient.Had to throw it away.Gulab Jamuns were warm, fresh andtasty. Overall not bad place for buffet lunch. Read more

I found this place randomly on Google. We went for lunch buffet today and it was beyond my expectation. Though their buffet... section is small but every item is delicious and freshly made. They were serving naan on request but the quantity was a lot. This gentleman (Harsh) was frequently checking if we need anything, about the food quality even though he was all by himselfhandling everything. He deserves a five star for his service. Even though it was our first visit but definitely not the last. Read more

We had the buffet on a Sunday and it was awesome. The taste was too good of most of the items, particularly loved the mutton... curry, naan, pulao, dal, rasmalai, gulab jamoon, rest of the items were fine. The cost for buffet was 21.99 and it was totallyworth it, good ambience and great service. Read more
