My husband and I went for a dinner date to the Cove. We got there at 4:30 happy hour ends at 5:30 (happy hours is 9$wine and... 1$off beer and cider. A dollar or two off of the appetizers/main dishes) if you’re sitting in the bar area. We had theraspberry lemonade cocktail and Moscow mule cocktail with appetizers. Drinks are expensive and nothing super special BUT THEFOOD WAS AMAZING. We loved the curry mussels. The seafood fondue was good and came with lots of bread. We got the scallops andrisotto for the main course. It was good but the rice was not a true risotto but still good. Dessert was delicious so so good.Would highly recommend!! Read more

Loved the brunch! First of all it is a beautiful location with great service. The bloody Mary was one of the best I've had. Crab... cakes was really tasty and the prawns were delicious. Speaking of delicious, the crusted halibut fit that bill as well. Theroasted potatoes were cooked perfectly and even the summer succotash was tasty for a known vegetable hater. The only complaint Ihave (and reason is not 5 stars) was that everything could have been seasoned just a touch more, but that is mostly nit-picking. Read more

The restaurant has a nice look at is situated near the water where you get some amazing views. In spite of that we had a bad... experience... 1. The music was just too darn loud. 2. I ordered the seafood pasta. The pasta was absolutely dry. After a fewforkfuls I found the sauce on the bottom of the plate. Not mixing the sauce and pasta together before serving is a terriblemistake for any restaurant - especially one that claims to be high end. 3. Even with the sauce the pasta was rather dry. 4. Theservice was poor. The waitress never looked in on us until after we had finished eating. Both of us needed to have our drinksrefilled WAY before then. An expensive restaurant is expected to supply both good food and good service. This place failed onboth counts. In fairness, the King Salmon was well prepared and delicious. Read more

We went to dinner there on Friday night, had a reservation, got there a little early and the lovely Ladies up front were very... welcoming, kind, funny and got us to our table fast... which only led to the BEST Waiter in the history of waiters, Dillon!Dillon was super funny, kind, attentive, gave excellent suggestions and was just an all round cool kid... err, young man. Infact, everyone there that night were super awesome. Oh ya, there was food... and drinks. Both were spectacular and yummy. ZEROCOMPLAINTS. It all was so good that I asked Dillon if they had a hand cart to just roll me out to the car. The food wasdelicious. It is worth the expense. Such a fun and great experience! Thank you Dillon and everyone at The Cove! Read more

Such a great addition to Vancouver's waterfront! It's away from the waterfront trail and feels like a hidden gem. The views are... beautiful, the space is modern, the food is delicious, and service was friendly. They have patio seating with fire pits and it'spet-friendly! We got there around 5 and were fine without a reservation but by 6, it was packed. Read more

Found a nice place to spend our anniversary that has vegan options. The mushroom and brown rice burger was AMAZING. Husband... had the halibut fish n chips. Michael, our server, was great. We had the place to ourselves at 4:30 and it was nice! Greatviews Can't wait to go back and sit on that patio with a fancy cocktail. Read more

Vancouver’s own Portland city grill. The Cove is what Wildfin and Twigs wishes it was. The views are amazing the staff was so... nice and had a lot of positive things to say about the menu. Best oysters I’ve had in a very long time. The wife’s steak wascooked perfectly and my scallops, amazing. Cannot wait to come back. Read more
