Generous portions and very sweet staff, but that is where the good things end. Long time to have our order taken, mostly... because it was busy but only two waiters who were also bussing tables and having to be everywhere at once. I had the HouseFried Rice, my girlfriend had the Shrimp Chow Mein, and we shared the steamed pork bao. We also had the Jasmine MilkTea. Photos were misleading, the bao are small soup buns, but the picture showed the fluffy, chewy kind. They were good and hadexcellent flavor. The rest? Not good. The fried rice was tasteless, seriously no taste at all. No spices on the meat, nothing. My girlfriend's chow mein was so oily to the point she couldn't eat it because of health issues. Also tasteless. Iimagine their MAIN thing is the hot soup, but we didn't order any. Staff was super sweet, but definitely overworked. Probablywon't be back. Edit: about an hour after posting this review (and eating,) we started to not feel the best. Read more
We ordered basil popcorn chicken for an appetizer, a taro smoothie, beef soup, and Japanese miso soup. The chicken was good but... we didn't get the smoothie until we were almost done with our meal. Both of the soups really needed more flavor. They came outlooking good but were SO bland. Zero salt or spices. The hot spots had a little flame come out under them and the flame keptcoming back after putting it out, boiling my soup until the bottom of it was charred. Service was exceptionally slow, it tookalmost 30 minutes to have our order taken after we sat down. I recommend only sticking with the "Taste of Asia" menu (andtakeout only) as those choices were always really yummy before they added the "Tasty Pot" section of their restaurant. Read more
First time here today and I'll probably be back! I got the #11 szechuan & husband got the #1 beef hot soup. Mine was great,... needed some salt though. Husband's pot was smaller for some reason. Ultimately his soup boiled down to a thick texture and hedidn't enjoy it. I'm curious if there were different sizes to choose from because the receipt had an "L" next to both of ourorders. If so, they gave us the wrong size! Maybe if his pot was as big as mine, he'd have more soup and he would've enjoyed itmore. The price was great for the food, only spent a little over $50 w/tip. The place was clean. No wait time to be seated &service was quick. OH! And I should mention, Google a maps has this place pinned at Shari's so we were super confused when wepulled up. I sent an edit to Google to fix it. It's just a little north of Shari's in the same lot. Read more
Scallion pancakes are surprisingly good. Chewy and a bit crispy outside layered texture. Fried tofu is also crispy outside with... little seasoning which is good that I can put on my favored condiments later. Read more

I saw a TikTok about the restaurant and decided to go. I got the Kimchi pot. It was a nice warm soup for a cold day. I asked the... server if it was too much for one person. She pointed to a nearby table telling me that was the size I would get. It is too muchfor just 1 person, but they do provide containers to go. The taste was okay. I might go back to taste the other dishes but Iwouldn't plan to go back. Pretty average. Read more
