First off, my boyfriend and I went there on a Saturday for a quick lunch (with that said, they do not offer lunch options on... weekends-typical)... We walked in & appreciated the ambiance right away. However, that's about all we appreciated here; ...1)The customer service was very "meh"... 2) The flavor was almost non-existent/bland (we got the twice cooked pork belly, andsalt & pepper chicken wings- that didn't have any salt & pepper on it)... 3) for the HIGH PRICES we paid, & the DINNER portionwe got, IT DID NOT COME WITH RICE!!!!! They charged us $1 per bowl (We are islanders, so we had to order 3 bowls)... WHAT KINDOF ASIAN/CHINESE RESTAURANT DOESN'T INCLUDE RICE WITH THEIR ORDERS??? ESPECIALLY DINNER PORTIONS??? This is VERYDISAPPOINTING!!!! We will not be returning... there are so many other Asian/Chinese Restaurants in Vancouver that are cheaperwith tastier food, & INCLUDES RICE!!! Got personal hotpots. The presentation is amazing and the food was so good!! They have tongue numbing mala. The broth wasn't too... spicy for us but was full of flavor. Love the wood ear fungus. Excited to come back! Staff was friendly and the place was clean.I also appreciated the free tea, not sure what kind (green or jasmine) but very pleasant flavor! Read more

Having lived in Asia for 3 years, I had yet to find satisfying authentic Szechuan food until I came here. This place is... delicious and great pricing for the meals. The appetizers are large, so don't be fooled. We ordered an abundance of dishesbecause we couldn't wait to take extra food home for a second meal. Seriously, go here - it's divine! Read more

Order the authentic food. This isn't a Chinese American fast food establishment like Panda Express This is a Szechuan... restaurant. The Szechuan items are going to be the best on the menu. I want to like this place but I?ve ordered twice and been disappointed both times. Both times the food has lacked any flavor.... The quality of ingredients is there but the food just doesn?t taste like anything. This time they forgot part of my order andthe orange sauce I got was unlike any orange sauce I?ve seen. VERY good food!!! We ordered the combination chow mein, beef with broccoli and chicken with assorted vegetables. Veggies were... cooked perfectly with a bit of crunch still, meat was tender and everything WAS NOT drowned in gravy which was a welcomefinding. Also, rice is NOT included which is also nice. Putting this first for people that just read review previews... Steamed rice is NOT INCLUDED and have to order separately! It... says it all over the place on the Grubhub and Doordash menus, but not Online Order for pickup. I think it is a good idea toreduce waste as is the option for no utensils or condiments. Now for the important part of the review... the food! The MongolianBeef was best of the 3 items we got. It wasn't super spicy, but it did have a lot of peppers in it and the seasoning waswonderful. A close second was the Sweet & Sour Chicken. It was large chuncks of white meat with a light batter coating which wascovered with one of the best sweet and sour sauces I've tasted. It wasn't the usual bright red syrupy sweet sauce, it was reallygood and the sweetness was not overpowering. Now the Salt & Pepper Squid was alright. The squid was cooked perfectly and welighted the light batter on it, but it needed a little more salt and pepper. Overall we were happy and will have to give itanother shot. Read more
