The coffee is the same as any other Starbucks and it?s employees are friendly enough. However I tend to come to coffee shops... with my computer so I can be productive outside of the house, and while this location used to be designed in such a way thatencourages this, it no longer is. They have disabled every single wall outlet and made it so you can only plug a device into onevery thin table positioned directly in front of the barista station and cash registers, making it extremely uncomfortable andeven more risky to have any sort of device out because the foot traffic around this table is very busy, whereas you used to beable to plug into outlets that were away from others and away from the customer line. Feels like they want you to leave as soonas you get your drink, which is fine, but counter to how these coffee shops were initially designed. Read more

I work here a few times when I come here in Vancouver is a long drive home. Good hot coffee and warm bread makes my morning go... smooth. However this day I?m disappointed. My cup nearly has anything almost a small amount of coffee: the top was mostly empty.Feel cheated. Then my banana bread was cold after I asked for warm up. I don?t mind paying $9.00 however this BS. I mean wepaying for a good breakfast coffee we should get a great service; I say???? this one of many times Starbucks leave medisappointed. Anyway the small coffee store has gotten a bit clean/ still have few homeless hangout around which is a bituncomfortable. The inside is pretty clean. This is my local neighborhood Starbucks, The whole staff is friendly, They always have fun jokes, quotes or little facts on the... blackboards, And some lovely little creative soul puts stickers on the cups occasionally, which is fun and brightens up my day.Small little details are my favorite and it?s adds the individualism to the particular Starbucks, I can get a white chocolatemocha any Starbucks, it?ll likely taste the same, but on 8th street, it comes with a butterfly sticker ????
