I have been twice now. The first time we waited over an hour for our food. The food was good, except one of my poached eggs was... so over cooked the yolk was the same as a hard boiled egg. The 2nd visit I was served quicker, but the food was not good at all.Please clean the fryer. My chicken fried steak was grease and tasted like old fryer grease. Then my over medium eggs were runnywhites, and the breakfast potatoes tasted like they were cooked the day before then popped in the microwave. Now for the steak.It actually seemed like it might have also taken a trip through a microwave. Medium rare steak was medium at best and gray onthe outside. Drinks are fine they were cider, beer, and coffee not much to mess up on. It is really too bad because I have heardsuch amazing things about brunch and have now had less than good food twice. Might also be the Sunday crew. I'll give itanother go on a Saturday and see. Please get rid of the re heated tasting food and clean the fryer. Read more
I'm not a huge fan of bar-like settings because I get overwhelmed, but Shanahan's is a pretty good place even just to get some... food. They make their food from scratch, which is awesome. I would highly recommend their macaroni and cheese, which is extracreamy and flavorful. Even better, the service is excellent. The food comes quickly, and the employees here are so friendly andsweet. The place isn't the cleanest, but it's what you'd expect. Prices are also pretty good. Read more
One of the better valued happy hours in Vancouver. It's not fine dining but the large variety of items available on the happy... hour menu is the best I've seen. Also it lasts until 7pm. The sausage and pretzels were good. I like how salty the pretzels are.My wife like the mild sausage. I like the smoked chicken quesadilla without the BBQ sauce. The cod tacos are good. We didn'tcare for the caprese salad but the Cesar looks much better. The irish nachos were yummy. Only pedestrian cocktails at best. Istuck with beer. Their stout was excellent. Ample parking. Went for a date night, amazing people, food was delicious. Will definitely go back. Loved how when you order a round for the... kitchen, how excited they got. Shanahan is a must see, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the great food and amazingatmosphere. ???? Read more

Have been meaning to get to Shanahan's for some time and a recent date night couldn't have been better. Sat at the bar and... enjoyed a few appetizers and some great libations while ???? a Seahawks game. Sage was our bartender and she was wonderful!Overall vibe of the pub was happy, positive, and very down to earth. Make sure you try the happy hour menu. Tons of great foodon there. There is a pool parlour area, outdoor area for cigars and the bathrooms are clean! Will be hanging out here more inthe future. Just a great experience overall. Read more
Really tasty food while still having a decent selection of local and national brews. We had the mushroom swiss burger and the... Dubliner which is like a Ruben but the kraut is swapped for cheese and onions. Bread and rolls amazingly fresh and the frieswere just right. The chips are also really good. Read more
Very relaxed atmosphere. Happy Hour from 3-7pm. Bartender was very helpful, she recommended some drinks. Pool tables available... to play. Just bring quarters, it?s $1 a game. Read more
