This place was exactly what I was looking for! It's a lot like looking for a good massage, for most people, just getting touched... is great, but the more you get, the more you want it to be really great. And just like massage, it's the whole package, from thefood to the staff to the decor. Pho Le hit it right on all points. I love the plants that lend a feeling of personal opulence,like being in my own little jungle. It adds a great atmosphere as well as giving some privacy from other diners. I loved theflowers on the table. I loved the choice of condiments at the front table. I loved the little pocket store off to the side. Inshort, it was the set up for a perfect date. When the Bun Cari Ga (Curry soup) arrived and was slide in front of me it was likebells going off! I mean it was beautiful! A thing of wonder and delight. The color was like the gold of dreams with unknowndepths and tantalizing mystery. And it was perfect from first sip to last slurp. It was complicated and just slightly sweet witha perfect umami mouth feel. The people in this neighborhood have a treasure in their midst. I could see what looked like a lotof regulars hunkering down for their afternoon love fest. It's a long way from my usual haunts, particularly with the ridiculousbig truck with its awful milage, but certain things are worth the trip. I decided to give a second chance to Pho plate because my first experience was bad at another restaurant. This place looks super... clean, the food tastes and seems fresh. The customer service is good. I will definitely be back again. Plus they have shelveswith some Vietnamese food available for purchase. Read more
One of my favorite pho places in PNW. I always order the pho tai, which is tender, thin-sliced beef flank cooked in a flavorful... hot broth with noodles. When I ordered it on a delivery app, the beef showed up perfectly chilled and I was amazed by how freshit was. Even my boyfriend who usually hates meat was tempted (and our cat wanted a slice too!) The restaurant’s ambiance is alittle empty, and it doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a gem and the food is cooked with love. They alsotold me it’s pronounced more like “Phuh Lay” (not Foe Lee) but I digress, this food is delicious. Note: The rare steakslices are supposed to be cooked in the broth so don’t be shocked when you order delivery, the beef should be raw! Just heatyour broth to around boiling and drop some slices in. So a friend recommended this place for their pho, then decided to give it a try. I ordered beef pho and the portion was huge and... tasted so delicious. The broth was flavorful, the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back. Read more
