The lecheon, rice and mac salad is a 5 star the teriyaki chicken was a little on the dry side (3.5 star) and could a lot moist... and be sliced up. This is my first time there and recommend Thursday Filipino food day a visit. $$$ Read more
It's a hard time for everyone, the food is outstanding but it seems they are always short staffed but it's worth the wait.
First off, 4 stars is being generous. The problem wasn't the food didn't taste good, nor was it really the portion size. The... problem was japolo sauce is just teriyaki sauce. It sounded like some type of authentic Hawaiian sauce. Instead I paid 13$ fora teriyaki chicken bowl. I tried to google japolo chicken and the only thing that came up was their restaurant name. Again 4stars because I guess I could have asked what japolo sauce is. Place was super busy, took 25-30 minutes to get the bowlout. Probably won't come back, just because I was expecting something else. Read more
The food here is tasty everytime I visit. Never disappointed. Their menu items are all tasty - from Hawaiian, Japanese, to... (amazingly) Filipino food! Their Pancit, Lumpia, and Japolo Chicken is especially great! Love their desserts that can vary frompie and cake flavors like Ube, Passionfruit, or classic Chocolate. Read more
A very chill place to dine with a super fast and friendly service. I got their kalua pork and my buddy ordered their katsu... curry; kalua was delicious but their katsu curry I?d pass on. Mac salad was bland and very thick, I?d pass on that, too! Menuwasn?t overwhelming, and priced fairly. I liked the recommendations giving by the cashier (whom provided awesome service) andthe interior has a nice Hawaiian feel like I was in the 808. A good Hawaiian place to dine in. The table arrangement makes the seating space feel really tight. I think their chicken katsu... is super popular. I came here 3 times and 2 out of the 3 times they were out of the chicken katsu. The service was good andplace is clean. Read more
The employee was super nice, loved the music and the vibe. I ordered the Loco Moco. The eggs had raw egg white under the gravy... which I scooped off to the side. The beef patty itself tasted off. The macaroni salad was perfect. I wanted to like this place.My girlfriend ordered the Japolo Chicken. Her chicken pieces were fatty and chewy to her. We felt sick after. Read more
